the "heart of battle" dark seer facet is absolutely busted, you have permanent haste every fight cause illusions count as heroes, so you never have to surge yourself in fights
And quick wit carry Dark Seer can melt faces. And I think Agility build rocks more DPS
And dat dog farms soo fast
@@Chasodey I've been doing a lot of pos 3 dark seer and part of me wants to go with a pos 1 right clicker build just for fun. I'm just imagining a dark seer who blinks in, vac walls the whole team. but then doesn't run away....
@@themaliciousrabbit Blink? Blink grants no stats until upgraded. Just go items, you're still a DS with his kit, you will place a wall in a fight

Treant sapling also feels nice because treant can shove waves much harder now
A friend plays BH pos5 a lot, and he usually steals around 5k gold in a 40 minute long match. So that's effectively a 10k net worth swing just by casting his spells.

That's not a whole lot, let's assume pos 1 and 2 have 25k NW at 40 min, pos 3 20k and pos 4/5 10k, that's 90k per team, so 5k is just 5.5% which is not that much
Read about opportunity cost bro. Wtf is 10 k swing on min 40 cmon. Plus long games equal to bad MMR in most cases
Whoaaaa I think you missed on Treant protector. It’s his other fascet with the higher winrate. Hes my best hero, and at first I thought it sounded weak, but for position 5 support you’re no able to get off the entire duration of the heal in an aoe every 8 seconds. With a holy locket you can get about as much healing in a game as your carry gets damage
Thats why ive been doing its insane
His leech seed + seeds of serenity + holy locket mid game + 20 talent does 150+ hp/s heal in a massive aoe. Almost busted
All I know is that claritys don’t work on Lich anymore but mangos and lotus do.
Because of how limited the meta is, I have been losing to rat heroes who don't at all want to fight the OP heroes

That's interesting. I haven't seen any ratting in this patch and for years. What MMR are you guys, if you don't mind me asking? Not trying to pick a fight or anything here, I'm genuinely curious if this is a skill-level thing or maybe a regional thing (I play in SEA mainly now).
@@Micheldied SEA divine player here. Can attest haven't seen that much ratting. But players are definitely more aware of how strong certain heroes at certain times are.
Watch the bsj breathing vid about splitting and grouping. That should help with snowballing the and closing the map in on the opponents allowing for easier and faster hg siege
Bh through and through has a potential to deal 2x dmg to an enemy if u 1st cast it behind or close to him, and then it bounces into him.

Been spamming chen with 1 0 2 + satyr at mid. It grants advantage in two lanes. Mid mana burn and mana regen. Then the high regen aura and active armor on E paired with high damage and Q. I sometimes go full stats with two circlets and manfight whoever esp at lv 2 buffing myself with E if they fight. Then micro the satyr to mana burn every cd. (not applicable to clinkz mid). It's a basic introduction to micro and pretty fun too. Then move to 1 4 2 1 accordingly.

most ppl on dota pro tracker don't pick the primeval power facet for treant, they pick the other one.
One trick with BH's shuriken facet is to hit the hero BEHIND the main target you wanna hit. So this'll give you like 600 damage to the main target plus damage amp if he's tracked

Fun video! The audio levels need some DB normalization though. it keeps going between soft and loud; quite distracting, and I had to change my volume a couple times haha

Try chaos knight and shadow demon in a lane together. It's very strong
i have seen the other facet on a mid windrunner, she came to my lane to gank, we lost 3 (her, me the offlaner and the 4) to one under levelled jug because she done no damage to him with her ult
Witchdoctor should be hotfixed btw, since they nerfed Sand King that fast I don't see why not. Honestly the most ridiculous and boring stuff to play vs since maybe ever.
I've been having a ton of success with since the big patch is position 4 DK.
I use the cold facet and buy greaves and just push and it's been steamrolling
I’ve been playing treant sapling facet with holy locket and playing an aoe healer. I have around 90 percent with it at ~5k mmr

Rightfully so, it's in every other game at my elo and almost impossible to lane vs. Still more tolerable than WD but it's close.

I thought Dark Seer's quick wit facet was gimmicky and just the facet you take if you don't want the ms reduction with the other facet. 2 bracers and you feel like the enemy can't trade with you. And goddamn, you build treads, echo sabre and you're melting people. Then into the mid game you get a bkb, or a blink and harpoon, it's crazy how fast you can snowball. You really feel the att speed and damage from his innate. Just build strength items and you get damage and health. Might be a bit situational, I think the usual aura build is more consistent, but if you see an opening to snowball, it's insane the dps that hero can get.
It's so weird that Dragon Knight became a better hero after splitting his ult into three different parts lmao

Problem with dark seer is lower MMR people have no idea the hero exists, and then think he's a support.

I've lost loads of lanes at my (low) mmr with a weaver support, mostly because I think all the Carry-only players see it as a great way to get their support queues done 😅
I've not had this many incompetent supports in a long time. Waiting for that trend to die now.

Q dispells allies and enemies, roots enemies hit
W on allies gives MR, on enemies disarms.
E does instant damage, with more healing over time than the damage value.
Ult hard dispels and then delays all damage, doubles healing and regen during that time.
The complexity in the hero was using W correctly, but that's now gone. He's no more complicated than other non-braindead heroes.

Nerf on the spirits hurts a lot considering there are heroes that have 57% winrate in the game. Storm and void especially kinda back to how they used to be before the patch. Storm inate should really give him more than .2 regen or make it so he doesn't lose it when he dies. It's not that big of a deal and doesn't compare at all to old bloodstone storm.
BH is a massive sleeper pick. TnT facet is absurd. Give BH a good laning partner and it's overpowered
Met this dude in herald pub was playing against him and a party. He won and was annoying and constant bm for no reason in game. This guy looks exactly how I imagined someone like that would look like.
What surprises me is Abaddon being able to remain under the radar. This hero has a consistent 53-55% win rate on both facet, and still not a word. And this win rate consistency lasts since 3 patches, at least. Was already the case during the 7.34 times. Really, the best hero of this game for 8 months. What a sneaky undercover ghost.
yep. i’ve gone from 2.7k to 4.3k in two months (before the rework) playing aba 4 or 5 maxing Q and rushing aether lens and tranq boots. i play him like a caster and almost never right click.
I tried core a couple of times and it was miserable, before I went back, to support. Probably a lot of abaddon players gave up after the first one lol.

@@vinsmoke4155 I'm not in BSJ's bracket or anything, but he's pretty much fine at 7k. It's not a super high rating or anything, but for most people he's completely viable.
I just don't understand how Silencer has so low win rate. Every single game that pass the 40min mark with a Silencer on it, just make super hard to fight him, it does so much right click damage and permasilence on the target.

Been having insane games with bounty hunter. If you can sustain his mana and get aether lens early, through and through is so incredibly good, you can throw shuriken and THEN track and if the shuriken is still flying it WILL bounce, you can throw through a target and if you have some long distance shurikens, it's possible to get several bounces from two seperate tracks on low cooldown with octarine, it's so easy to farm and just generally stay out of fights and harrass - this style is no melee hero, but end game hits hard as anyone if you get close
It might not be meta but Tinker looked wild and was getting banned every game by the end in the China road to TI qualifiers
this meta is heavily aura based, if someone on the enemy team buys Crimson Guard and Skadi, they pretty much win most teamfights.
I play at archon. No one plays broken heroes. We just go. So I don't really feel that there is no variety. I mean, I even played Abbadon mid and won.
He says Enigma 57% i haven't seen an Enigma in months. CK best carry see them every game? Have seen maybe CK once in 50 games. The meta is different for other MMRs.
Just because you or your bracket doesn’t understand the heroes in the meta to be broken doesn’t mean they aren’t.
Once you guys understand Dota at a higher level, you will understand why pros are choosing and winning with these heroes at a 54%+ win rate

I think he got tree facet wrong and also surprised he didn't mention SF.
Doctor Is the most ridiculous you simply can't trade with him, you also cant drag the wave as an offlaner since if he is walking next to you you will just die before reaching your tower, hope he gets nerfed soon

Ogre deserves a nerf, especially ignite slow, 29% slow for 8 sec that to with ridiculously long cast range is op. Also wd vodoo swicheroo.
This has been happening for a while. DOTA is seeing escalation at an unbelievable rate. 5 years ago, Heroes were mostly situational. If you had a stun, you paid for it by being bad at other things. If you did a lot of burst damage, you paid for it by having a ton of weaknesses. But not the new Heroes! They all do everything with no downside. Control? Survivability? Insane Damage? Hell, they might have all of that on a single skill (cough, Pango).
Other heroes that are popular are being reworked to this level of power, but it's slow and it's case by case. It was already the case where their were 2 types of Heroes and DOTA ... "new" heroes who were fantastic at everything with no downsides, and old heroes, who were situationally good at one or two things.
This patch took some of the "new" heroes and gave them even more power. Unprecedented, absolutely broken powers. So now we have 3 pools of heroes. SUPER NEW, who were updated in this patch, and can be played in any game on any role. New, who might be situationally better at one small aspect of the game then the Super New, and old, which are just useless. They can situationally be half as good as a Super New heroes is at everything all the time.
The pickable pool in DOTA used to be exclusive. Very few heroes were too bad to play. Now it's inclusive. Very few are powerful enough to be viable.

Im herald 5 and ive been seeing all these heros which is rare because usually when the meta changes there's only 1 or 2 heros from the top meta played at my lvl but this time they're all being played.

Witch Doctor, Enigma, Weaver, Dark Seer, Dark Willow, Shadow Fiend needs nerf clearly. They are straight-up OP heroes with no weakness. On the other hand, Chaos Knight is very strong but it is situational hero and strong chaser heroes like Ursa and carry Pudge and Centaur eats Chaos Knight raw. Chaos Knight needs a bit tuning. When enemy doesn't counter, he soloes the game but he is killed by simple chaser heroes. He needs escaping skill and in return extra clone chance can be nerfed to 33%.

@@Asterix958 SF also needs nerfs for sure. Can't counter a good SF at all. Flash farming, insane dmg, lane presence, can't move for 10 seconds if he got ult+refresher etc.

I've lost 800 mmr since the patch, I dunno wtf to do. I kinda don't feel its totally on me either. Everything seems to be going great early game and mid game, then when we're approaching late game we suddenly just lose. My safelane seem to always struggle really hard right from the first minute of laning. I'm at a point where I have no idea what to pick in the offlane anymore. I don't play dark seer
