Its a shocker to see komal pandey visiting a palace that too in Odisha 😂. Anyways glad our odisha is getting the long delayed recognition that it deserved so much so lately. Proud of my Odisha. People come explore this best kept secret
@@Huhuhaaaaa520 Even for that “not so significant place” she must have taken permission from the royalty and the fact that she is working with curlytales NOT BBC, reminds us that it’s just a RUclips channel that’s paying her to go there!!!!

What was the surprise element here if she visiting the royals of Odisha .Couldn’t deny the fact some people don’t take pride in their own culture , heritage and when the others do they don’t find it significant and worth enough Anyways your comment also here is also as insignificant here !
Loved watching about rhe Odisha's royal family and Dhenkanal palace. I'm a member of Ahom Royal Family of Assam and appreciate Odisha's culture which is very similar to Assam especially the language. (9/11/24)
because we have connection since earliest times. I can understand Assamese quite well, having never been to Assam, but we have more retro-flex sounds as it shares certain characteristic with Telugu apart from its own vocab while Assamese and Bengali are so soft to hear. Hopefully you visit Odisha and do not limit yourself just to Bhubaneswar, Puri ,Konark (coastal areas) interior Odisha ,North, South of Odisha has so much more to offer as well. Even traditional Odia summer thali has overlap with Assam's. Dhenkanal is one of many royal family in Odisha, there are Gajapatis of Puri, Bhanjas of Mayurbhanj , Kanika amongst others.
Our beautiful Maharani ji covered all the legendary art crafts and cultural heritage of odisha in her soft sweet words garlanded in her Majestic Commentary.... Felt so proud
Best kept secret of India. Odisha is truly a state with so many things to explore for every age group of people from different strata of society. Starting from Shri Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath temple and blue flag beach of puri to UNESCO world heritage site, famous sun temple at konark and pristine long beaches and mangrove forests at Bhitarkanika National park, that give the vibes of Amazon forest to national parks having tigers and salt water lagoon chilika having dolphins, and dotted with numerous such palaces across the state along with many form of arts, crafts. About food and drinks, Odisha is quite unique, be it Pakhala, Rasogola, Rasabali, Chhena poda and lip smacking cakes made during various local festivals. Not to forget, Odisha celebrates 3 day long Raja festival to celebrate womanhood, a special festival dedicated to women and lady members of the society. Apart from that, the people here are very friendly and will love to interact with anyone with little bit hindi or english without hesitation. Thanks curly tales team for showing Odisha to India and the world. Jai Jagannath 🙏
As I am from Dhenkanal,I feel so proud of my small cityand you showcasing the culture that to so beautifully and it's so authentic ,it's commendable,i loved it ❤️
My hometown .The palace that I’ve visited many times, but entry inside the palace is not permitted. You guys are lucky to have visited and witnessed such royal heritage and history.
Thank you for covering Odisha and showcasing its beauty to the world! Our state is full of surprises and hidden treasures waiting to be explored. Keep up the great work in sharing Odisha's rich culture and heritage!❤
How patta chitra created in Odisha is just because of the sculptures of temple. When group of odia community tried to build a soil or brik and cement temple and draw sculpture images from temples of Odisha, those paintings were so awesome that some people of Odisha re created those paintinga on canvas as these are named as patta chitra.
Feeling very good seeing this❤....ODISHA has a lot to explore.People r now recognizing our food, culture, handloom and a lot...this makes me feel really happy 😊
Firstly, this looks like a great series by Curly tales. Secondly, whenever we talk of palaces we know of palaces in Rajsthan, Hyderabad, this palace doesn't seem to be talked about a lot. The royals are always so regally dressed which makes us respect them more.
Thank you so much for ur visit , Odisha has so many things to offer to the world, Mind-blowing culture & traditions ,u will know, kindly visit again & again to cover all kalakari works of odisha people.Lots of love from Odia people.
It's always wonderful to see royals from other states getting the recognition they deserve. As a member of the Singh Deos of West Bengal (Panchkot), I can't help but wish our palaces had been preserved the way the Odia Rajgharanas have been. Sending lots of love! Btw, it's pronounced as Singh Deo (deoh) not "Dio" (as in deodrant) the Odia and Bangla Rajputs along with some in Jharkhand have had to explain this since childhood lol

Odisha is a hidden gem 💎 ✨️.. Has so many things in it but has not received the deserved fame and visibility... many people may not be knowing where Odisha is.. and as an Odiya, it hurts.. but yes seeing such videos it feels so proud for our mother land. Love ❤❤❤
Komal Pandey I thought was an incorrect choice for this series because of her overacting skills! But I am surprised to see her nail this series with her stunning royal clothing, elegance, unconventional beauty and communication❤ iss series ke baad se ye mujhe thodi acchi lagne lagi hai! Also, the queen knows her roots, so well spoken, absolutely humble and beautiful ❤
Quite happy to watch the episode. It rejuvenates the rich history and it's true essence. However one thing which was surprising was "eating pakhala in a banana leaf". Dhenkanal soldiers defeated Marathas in 1780 war which has been documented in "SAMARA TARANGA " written by Brajanath Badajena.
