At about 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday the 10th of February 2016 I met a friend in ‘The Cottage’, a pleasant and friendly pub in Saint Mary’s Street, Cardiff, Wales. We had begun to enjoy our drinks and our conversation when we saw a large group of young adults streaming in. Almost all of them wore red rugby shirts so I assumed they were Welsh rugby supporters who were still in Cardiff after the Wales - Ireland rugby game on the previous Sunday, the 7th. of February. However, when I spoke to them I was quite surprised to hear that they were all from Barcelona and were speaking what I assumed to be Catalan among themselves. However, they also spoke very good English and told us that they had played a game of rugby again a local team in Barry, a seaside town about 12 miles from Cardiff. I did not ask them who had won.
They were indeed a very lively and entertaining group of visitors so I made a few video recordings which I am pleased to present here.
