- Each year, Elie Bleu produces a limited edition masterpiece that pays homage to the beautiful architecture found in Havana, Cuba, as part of their Casa Cubana series. These, in my opinion, are quite simply the most beautiful humidors being produced today and showcase the incredible marquetry capabilities for which Elie Bleu is so well-known.
Elie Bleu is a renowned French brand specializing in luxury humidors, accessories, and other objets d'art. Rooted in traditional craftsmanship, the brand merges aesthetic elegance with functional design. Using premium materials like rare woods and intricate marquetry, each Elie Bleu piece becomes an heirloom, reflective of the brand's commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and tradition. Favored by discerning collectors and aficionados, Elie Bleu elevates the experience of preserving and enjoying cigars to an art form.

That vertical humidor is stunning! Beautiful piece of art.
Truly are the best. No doubt - stunning.
Great introduction, Kirby... thanks for opening the big one up ... $15,500 seems reasonable.
"reasonable"? really? I can build a walk-in humidor for that kind of money. They are ridiculously expensive in my opinion.
Beautiful piece.
I had a great discussion with the owner of Elie Bleu at this years PCA convention in Las Vegas. "Standard" spanish cedar can emit sap at any point in time. Elie Bleu has found a species of spanish cedar that does not. Their work is phenomenal.
I’m not familiar with things like a humidor, although I had training in my younger years within sigars and Bar equipment. I find these video highly informatively. Thanks Kirby!
Excellent! Always look forward to your videos, Kirby.
Just lovely
Amazing. Not only Humidors, these are artworks.
@@tictactoehuhn6we might not understand why but still people are buying these maybe its not really what it looks like but the meaning or something behind it that makes it special
For a minute, I thought you had Lego sets for sale😂 Nice cedar boxes!
Amazing works of art! Great video, cheers.
Beautiful humidors for plugged cigars.
Mare meva! quin espectacle!! ❤❤❤
nice Austin Healey !
Outstanding. Will you be doing a show for your American audience on the do's, don'ts and the hoops we have to jump through to get to Cuba?
I don’t think Cuba is too difficult to travel to! However, trying to bring Cuban goods back to the states seems almost impossible without finding a legal loophole through another country. This is based on pretty surface level research though, I could be wrong.
@@Mungkee97 I was under the impression you could bring back a small number of cigars for PERSONAL consumption. What that number is...I dunno. Cheers!
@@mpyle27 I think you’re right, something like a certain number of cigars or total value, whichever limits out first. You probably won’t be bringing back a box of 25 with the prices nowadays!
Wholesome fun, boys being boys will say the judge. GUARANTEED.
£12,600 for what looks like a school child's art project. I will take 10
Even humidors generally are overpriced. I do woodcarving with a professional wood carver, he could make a bespoke humidor for a fraction of the price.
Its really a school Childs Artwork Just Look at the clouds😂😂

While I appreciate the craftsmanship it takes to produce, there are thousands of talented woodworkers who could reproduce this. All you need is a desktop laser cutter. Now, if these were hand inlay that would be different.
❤
Really cool humidors, and maybe this is a hot take... but I am not a huge fan of the painted style. To me, it looks almost a tad bit like a child painted the boxes with watercolor. I am not trying to take away from the exceptional craftsmanship but I'm curious if anyone else feels this way as well.
Kirby…see you in London 4th May……
I put a White Owl in a Elie Bleu, now its a Cohiba.
That $1000 ashtray is more important than bread.
I had to chuckle at "the ravages of modern architecture". Cities are living beings and evolve. They're dynamic and the architecture is a reflection of that. The contrast between old and new makes urban development exciting and fresh, in my opinion. Take the Louvre and the glass pyramid entrance, for example. Love it or hate it, but the juxtaposition of traditional and modern is at least an interesting fusion and a hallmark of how planning, architecture, and aesthetics evolve.
Anyway, carry on!
One thing you can say about architects is that they all want to try to make their mark on the world. I personally find modern architecture uninspired and boring, even buildings from the "best firms in the world". Then again, even as someone who's traveled through the US, Europe and Asia, I find even the best-planned urban setting to be oppressive to my soul.
Modern architecture is pure shit.
Modern architecture is oppressive and anti-human.
@@therightreads1561 yet the architecture firms all think they're making things better.
You've been to cuba only once ?
I think more. Last year when the entire Cuba series was filmed. And this year when he was nominated without success for the Cuba cigar man of the year award
Beautiful Kirby. Sadly the cost of shipping them to Australia with all the insurances added is simply too much to bare. I am happy with my Prometheus humidors which are equally as beautiful, if not made in the same factory.
I had to throw my Prometheus out. The lacquer smell was so powerful, it forever tainted any cigar places in it.
Kirb lost weight hope your 👍
Kirby man. Love ur channel. Are u ok brother??? U don’t look well to my eye. Not to be mean. I hope I’m wrong and ur ok. God bless man. Johnny w Philadelphia 🌟✨🌟
Do any gentlemen here smoke pipe?
Smoking one right now as I write.
A daily bliss
@@TheNunakunSo, you are definitely a quintessential gentleman...
@@SvedskiKuvar not how I define a gentleman, but I strive to be.
Sorry Kirby but even if I had the money to purchase such a humidor, if £12,600 didn’t matter or make a dent in my account, I still wouldn’t buy one. I’d rather show off the beautiful wood grain than paint or laser cut over it.
The most important in your words is “if”😂😂😂
It’s not traditional. I think they could have gone about it differently. A humidor should always be recognisable imo.
@@zuhairahmed1181 exactly…
I could paint better than that artwork when I was ten.
Only small portions are painted, most of it is marketry, I'm not really sure why people keep mentioning painting... again, 90% of it isn't.
Love it but the broke boys in the comments are mad 😡
Rip off
I'm sorry, but I can buy a lot of humidors, that do a great job, for far less money than those cost. While they are very nice pieces of art, in my opinion, they are extremely overpriced.
To be honest, they're fairly average.
I've seen craftmanship and this is at the lower end of the scale.
If yall think these are too expensive for what it looks like try searching “rotating mud” art peice
