- Oak Creek Canyon, the most beautiful hike in Sedona. I take you just over 7-miles roundtrip and showcase the highlights of what makes it Sedona's most popular trail.
i was born in flagstaff 1959, raised at ranch 7 miles south, lived in sedona and cottenwood 1965, eventually moved to oregon, still today. but i can still smell oak creek, i miss it everyday
One of most favorite hikes! You captured its essence beautifully. We are headed there next week and will also hike Wilson Mountain and possibly Wilson Canyon.
Wilson Mountain is a great one! Have fun with that one. Get there early because there just aren’t a whole lot of spaces at the bridge. Perfect time of year for that hike though!
just amazing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
@@ReganOutdoors I've actually been to Sedona as tourist. we only saw a very little of it. 😥
This video is great! Very informative.
nice hike, enjoyed watching, thanks for sharing.
Very welcome. If you think of any others in Arizona or California you’d like to see, let me know. I plan on filming a lot of different hikes. Always happy to take requests. Thanks for watching!
@@ReganOutdoors I'ven't been to USA but i think everywhere it's totally different than here in Nepal. It will be great to see any place you like
It’s an honor to have a viewer from Nepal. You have some amazing mountains in your country. I hope to visit one day. I’ll make sure to upload many more exciting adventures so you get a better feel for the USA.
Nice video!
Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
we are going to Sedona 1st week of Nov. we are excited. does this loop ? how many hours for first time hikers? i hope the colors of the leaves are beautiful!
Awesome! Perfect time to catch the colors of fall. It’s a 7-mile out-and-back hike. Plan for about 4-5 hours, as you’ll be stopping lots to take photos. It’s a gorgeous place in November. Hope you enjoy it!
Great vid thanks bro 👍
Very Welcome! I'll be back there later this month to shoot another Oak Creek vid for the channel with the leaves turned to beautiful fall colors. Makes for a whole different hike!
Regan Outdoors Im actually going myself next month & am totally looking forward to it
@@kevinwillz6457 That's awesome! You'll love it! Keep me posted!
A fantastic trail. As it is in Arizona did you see any Rattlesnakes?
I’ve seen quite a few rattlesnakes this year, but now that we have a cold spell, it looks like they’re gone for the season. Probably won’t see them out and about again until February/March.
@@ReganOutdoors Thanks , I know when to visit now. All the best.
Ironically, last week I just pulled all of the rattlesnake and tarantula footage from my iPhone that I shot when I came upon either during my hikes, and I think it’ll be enough to make a video. Look for it at the end of the month.
@@ReganOutdoors I shall look forward to that.
Nice job oh yeah yeah oh yeah yeah oh yeah yeah
Thanks Corbster! 👊🏽
I've heard this trail is really nice in the autumn when you get some fall color.
Absolutely! I actually do have a video of this trail in the fall. Click on my videos and scroll through and you’ll find it :) Very beautiful colors in autumn!
is there always flowing water no matter the time of year?
Yes. It’s a little more prominent in the spring to early summer months due to snow runoff, but it’s never impassable. The streams are very easy to cross.
beautiful! nicely done! let me hit the bell for more! 👍
Awesome! Thanks so much Becca! If there are any places in Arizona you’d like me to film, let me know. Always open to suggestions.
@@ReganOutdoors wow! That sounds so awesome! I will let u know haha!🤗
Did ya tap any Apples while you were there
No apple-tapping took place ;) I think everyone got to them already.
What month you went ?
I believe I shot this video in July. All summer is perfect weather up there! And the fall is absolutely gorgeous.
Didn't get a chance to do much. My mom got sick and took a dump in the woods
Yikes. It happens. My brother has fertilized a few trails here and there throughout our adventures.
