Today, Mr Alexander is one of the modern-day traveling showmen who carries on this tradition with great pride. In his Travelling Show, he performs magic, juggling, unicycling, balance, and illusion acts from his trailer turned vintage theater. His passion for the business was passed down by his family, as his mother was a trapeze artist and his father was the ringmaster of a small touring circus. In this charming film by Rhys Edwards, Mr Alexander talks about his life on the road with his two dogs and the joy of his chosen profession. “I don’t do it for the money. I’ve never done anything for the money. I do it for the love and the joy of it all.”
