I've got a built 06 with a 250 SX head and piston. It's my favorite bike by far. I put twin chambers and adjustable billet triples on and it's so good.
Hahaaaaaa! Right on man, trials ridin' the 300! I have a '97 125EXC I call the Short Bus. But it is the funnest woods bike ever. That 300 is a jewel for sure. My buddy that I just sold my 500 to has a 2018 300EXC. Those Katoom's rip.

Ya i had a 05 400 exc , 4 stroke but it looked exactly like that one , killer bike too
Yeah this is an 05. 06 got a black frame with slightly steeper head angle. Otherwise exact same.

@@edsmith6785 In the USA, in 2006 the letters changed to XCW. In 05 it was still called the EXC.

If there was a similar Honda I would have bought it. But there's not so I have a plated 300. It's a rugged reliable bike. Needs a Lectron.
I have a lectron on mine and have had great luck with it.
Best woods bikes for sure the linkageless suspension is nice when your goin over logs. Ill never sell my 08 300 xcw

Shes a bueat , big brother to my 200exc , man its clean though , and just broke ,in , I've got 120 hour on my 200 and its had one piston and rings replace and I did it at 88 hours , still had great compression, I did it a preventive maintenance really , cylinder is still perfect , of course mines not that pretty shes been bang through woods quite a bit .
I love the big bore kawi and cr but you gotta admit Ken that 300 feels like magic dosent it
It's almost like cheating in the woods you can go so fast on the 300 so easily it's definitely that hot set up for woods racin
I'd need a step ladder to get on that bike ! lol

26hrs aint nothin. I put that on my new Honda Rancher in 1 summer just on my property and I own other offroad vehicles. I love hour meters, i install them on everything i own soon as I buy them if they don't have a factory one that is.

Anybody know the part number for intake boot for vforce 3 reeds 2005-2007 KTM 300 XCW? My buddies is split horribly and all google wants to show is up to 2004 then skips to 2007 for 300 but fits the 05-07 ktm 250 sx im confused lol just need a replacement rubber intake boot for vforce 3 reeds 2005-2007 KTM 300 XC-W
