Some nice goals sure, but you can't say the 1993 Canadiens roster was good. In might actually be the worst hockey team to ever win a Stanley cup. There's only one reason they won that year and that reason is Patrick Roy. He did ALL the work.

You must be drunk. There's multiple hall of famers, Muller and Carboneau were cup winners on Dallas together and Carboneau won another in NJ. They had excellent defense too. Keane would also win a cup with Dallas

What did Carbonneau say at 5:56??? McSorley what? What is really hilarious about that situation was that Roy did NOT want to come out at that time, I think there was 1:45 remaining. And yet when Roy became a coach he was the one who introduced the practice of pulling the goalie with 2 or more minutes to go in a game! Now it happens all the time so it's funny to think about the fact that on that occasion he didn't want to be taken off! And Bob Cole....wow was he ever fantastic. He made these games so much more enjoyable and memorable. I used to walk around as a kid repeating "Great save by Roy!!!" just trying to say it like him.

Jacques Demers and Guy Carbonneau were speaking in Québécois french. Demers asks Carbonneau :" McSorley pis qui, t'as dit, l'autre?" (McSorley and who else , you said?) , Carbonneau answers "McSorley pis euh...Robitaille" (McSorley and uh.. Robitaille)
Those were the 2 Kings players that Carbonneau had identified playing with an illegal stick. Demers needed the right names to call a stick measurement ! The rest is history ;-)
