    Hello Pals!
    Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing some of your time with me! Today’s video is a little bit different than what you’re used to seeing me do! It was way out of my comfort zone, but that’s okay, sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zones! I hope you like how I mix it up a bit today and here’s hoping you learn a new tip or two! Thank you all for being so kind to me and being my “Tidy Up Tribe” ❤️😊

    I loved this video. Lots of good tips. My only comment is to do your research on using fabric softener sheets. They are pretty toxic. I switched to wool balls because of that. I'm sure if they are toxic for your dryer and clothes, they are not great tucked into places. Some people may not be concerned, but if you want more safe options, I like your homemade ideas.

    • @MyBigTidyUp
      @MyBigTidyUp  Год назад +3

      Hello Deb!👋🏼 Thank you so very much! I have not tried the wool dryer balls, but I do have a couple of friends who have, and they have mixed reviews. I heard that they soften and reduce your drying time because the wool balls get in between the clothing items and separate them as the dryer spins. I did hear from someone that they had trouble with the wool balls when they used them with light delicate fabrics. Have you experienced that? I am interested in them. I must admit I just have never given them a try yet. 😊

      Hi Darlene! I have had a couple of folks concerned about using baking soda and how it would affect their vacuum. I was told that as long as you used it sparingly and cleaned your filter on a regular basis that it was no different than vacuuming up dirt and dust. I myself have never had a problem with it, but I just do a light dusting when I use baking soda because it doesn’t take very much. It might also depend on what kind of vacuum you have. Morning. Thank you for this video. I made a simmer pot yesterday, and I didn't smell anything. I brought it to a boil this morning-now it's on the lowest setting-my kitchen/front room area smells aaammmaaazzziiinnnnn. I used what was on hand, but I will be buying & adding imitation vanilla to it. (I just couldn't bear to pour the pure stuff in the pot!) Thanks again! Have a happy weekend!

      Hi Toni! Good morning to you too! That makes me so happy that you made a simmer pot! I do the same thing I just throw in there what I’ve got on hand, you never know what will end up in there! Lol! PS I never pour the good vanilla in mine either! It’s too expensive! If I’m using real vanilla, I want to smell it and taste it! Lol!

      @@MyBigTidyUp oh you can Google for brands like “Essenza di Elda” and “Horomia” or in Dutch the word
      “Wasparfum” it’s a perfume concentrate you use in the washer, but you can also dilute it with water ( fake febreze, but better) or use a few drops in your bucket 🪣 for mopping the floor. My house smells amazeballs.
