I like how Crendor was like, "Tell the people who you are," and TB took the opportunity to spend a minute letting us all know he was the top WoW content creator. I wouldn't have it any other way. RIP TB. You were the man.
Michael Kaminski His complaint is rather fair if you think about it, even Oxhorn reactivated again to join Crendor to fish with him... I bet he has about 20k somewhere to get the token from that...
Michael Kaminski As TB has more RUclips money than God, I think it's more of a matter of principle. He said he wasn't coming back, and he stuck by his word.
poyokirby Some many of these youtubers got rich by show us cool videos of WoW, like TB and Athene (yes they got rich and now it is boring for them, wtf), and then they leave us with no content to watch, thanks for nothing. Crendor rocks!
Watching this after WoW Classic has been out for a while. I wish John would have been able to give his two cents on Classic after hearing him talk about it here.
Been searching for something to listen to after we've lost TB and I think this will be the perfect thing for me since Crendor is so great and loveable RIP
Timothy Mcvastela I really like how that's just become a thing on Crendor and Jesse's channels. Nerd isn't even used the right way, but it's somehow just become the right way.
Thnx crendor , great episode i was the guy watching TBs videos on archeology and all the other stuff he made , miss his wow content even today , but happy hes got to where he is now! i will always remember those days :D
When TB was talking about all the sound tracks, reminded me I still need to run some older content so I can collect more music for my Garrison Jukebox.
Super nice to hear TB talk about wow, used to listen to Blue Plz! back in the day religiously, recently levelled again on Nostalrius listening to all the Blue Plz recordings, bliss.
Just looking through some old videos from a distant past. This one hits strong. I didn't know totalbiscuit too much but heard about him through crendor's videos and to me crendor is an absolute legend.
I think it's kind of interesting that a lot of popular youtubers had first created content for WoW or played it regularly. It seems like it really did play a big role in propelling people up in popularity, way before the monetization of youtube occurred.
Good stuff, I remember when TB really started out making lot of videos (the wow cata beta videos that you guys talked about) was always excited seeing videos from him and Jesse from it and specially since only had 60% job when that was, then of course happy to see more videos (since they released few a day). I'm not sure if he will read this but Totalbiscuit, John, thank you very much for that and of course all the previous work (Blue Plz!) and various gaming content after).
I can understand that TB does not wish to play WoW anymore, but it would be super awesome to hear his opinion about major news about the game amongst other gaming news. One of the reasons I love this video was that I got to hear his two cents about WoW raiding having more than levels of difficulty like he wanted it to be back in the end of Wrath
Amazing how one could disdain the game that essentially made him. Maybe having WoW during the low point in TB's life had something to do with it. Props nonetheless, TB is a legend.
Nick Rhodes Tell ya what I disdain, people attributing my success to a videogame that's been irrelevant in my life for years and not the work I put in to get where I am now.
TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit Aw man, I didn't mean it like that. Was just saying WoW was a big part of where you are now, not that it is the sole cause. The fact that you worked retail is enough proof that your effort is what put you in your current position.
TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit Clearly you can play whatever games you want. It was the not grateful line. Being grateful is about positive, appreciating challenges, being thankful for what you got, being mindful. So many positive "feels" with grateful. I think the word you were looking for was beholden. Which is true, you don't owe Blizzard or WoW anything. So, you don't have to play WoW because it was a big part of your start in broadcasting. BTW, many of the WoW soundtracks are in the Garrison Jukebox.
If memory serves, they only put in the option to stop your xp gain when they added xp in battlegrounds. But it did allow twinking to go on, which was cool.
Found this today, went back to the older "Archaeology" vid, and it feels really crazy to know that TotalBiscuit will never make any new videos. I can't really understand how sad I am about it... I actually watched that old Archaeology vid back in 2010...
+Shadownet Spy I pre-ordered a few games years ago also. I learned how vile and unwelcome they are, then stopped doing it. People make mistakes and learn from them. Look at pre-orders today. Proof that they are getting even worse and not beneficial for the consumers. Actually they are just punishing the consumers now and encouraging piracy. That's the observation I take from it, how about you?
Toki Wartooth I don't see pre-orders as "punishing" the consumer, but more like the consumer taking a risk on a product. I very often see some good discounts on games if you pre-order them. For example, when Batman: Arkham Knight was getting close to launch, Greenmangaming.com offered a 40% discount on the game if you pre-order, which is a good sum of money considering it was a AAA title. It's a risk/reward thing. Some times it pays off, other times it doesn't. Either way, I do agree with you that it encourages piracy when a company screws over their consumers when the consumers have already given them money. Ubisoft is a good example of that, with Anno 2205. They allowed pre-orders and said that people who do this will also get access to the beta for the game. Then, out of nowhere, Ubisoft announces that there will be no beta, and instead you get a "custom ship model". This shit does make people angry, and they'll likely pirate it just out of spite for the company. If it were to go the other way, and companies showed that they could actually be reliable and trustworthy with pre-orders, then I think a lot more people would do it. As it stands though, most consumers would give more trust to a rock than they would to most companies with pre-orders. *TLDR: Pre-ordering is risky. Might pay off, might not. Screw Ubisoft.
TBF when watching Crendor it is incredible likely at some point something he would do would leave you dumbfounded with only one thing to say "Wow... Crendor...."
TBC > Nagrand > Nesingwary chain-quests... Just saying: Those were some Epic times~ I Always Enjoyed his quests, just some special charm to them. It's good their bringing him back for Legion, it was silly, that he wasn't allowed to hunt in Draenor.

When they did the change where you could stop you exp, it actually stopped a lot of twinking the ques were dead. Twinking was actually how I got in the BC beta. Blizzard did a tournament server where everyone on the server couldn't level past 19 and top PKs in bg got keys. Since me and my guild were use to twinking we did well. Also I miss old AV.
12:00 If I remember correctly, Blizzard allows you to turn off your leveling, but then you can't do BGs with regular players who have it turned on. Which means twinks fight other twinks. Crendor have you considered making a seperate wow trial account for your guest to "Log on" and make a low level toon, boost it somewhat and then learn fishing for them so they can fish with you free without they paying for the game if they quit
Jacob Søndergaard thatd be a really good idea, but I'm guessin totalbiscuit wouldnt even have the game downloaded anymore, and he probably wouldn't download it again haha
Jacob Søndergaard I haven't used a trial account in a long time but when I did it was like a near 30 gig dl, and Totalbiscuit isn't the sorta man to download something that big just for an interview. Unless they brought out a specific like trial version to download that's smaller he might do that
wait he said TBC had "crazy attunement" where in vanilla the attunement for Naxx was crazy expensive/grindy. Not to mention all the raids that had some crazy back and forth quest chain.. for the most part from what I remembered about TBC all the attunements required you to do raid and progressively work your way up to end game. I'd prefer that over the stupid quest chains any day.
Fire Mage in Molten Core. Fighting fire with...well fire. I always wanted to get the Thorium Brotherhood old Server Blade as it was my first server to play on. Also I'm one of those suckers that maxed out Archaeology in Cataclysm.
Love these videos! Just as a little added thing, you should ask each guest what their favourite zone in the game is and go fishing there, would just be a nice touch in my opinion :).
I don't know man, i know if i go back I'll just be feeding the hypothetical addiction. I was thinking about selling it but I've easily sunk over 500$ in subscription alone, it would feel like a huge waste.
SS4Nappa Depending on your server, its pretty cheap to pick up wowtokens, on mine its 22-23k gold. At this point im just casually playing as well, with a lot of League on the side.
Even if you don't it's pretty easy to get it back and going. I've only come back recently as well, but will have almost 3 months paid here soon through gold. A friend of mine has almost 2 years paid, but also has almost 20 level 100 alts so that's different.
A few notes about twinking. One the exp stop thing puts you into brackets against only others who have stopped their exp, so it was Blizz doing something about twinks. Secondly you don't get twinks nowadays anymore because everyones running around in heirlooms which are just as good if not better. Blizz should really do something about that, if a new player tries out a BG and just gets fucking creamed by heirlooms is he gonna bother with pvp in the future? Probably not.
Ceser1999 TB is aware, he did loads of paid promotions for it and did some casting for them. He seemed to get so hyped about it and played it so much he instantly got burnt out playing it.
I guess the "Fishing with Crendor" series is a sign to move on, seeing as how all the big WoW RUclipsrs have long since abandoned the game. It's really interesting (but sad) to hear these interviews... I feel like they're all eulogies. "WoW was once a great game, but now her watch has ended."
That'd actually be quite a fitting name: Fishing with Crendor - a WoW eulogy I mean I definetely see your point and share your sadness... the memories, oh so bittersweet
TortureVision Little do you know, Fishing with Crendor is just a subtle way of saying "fishing for the remnants of what made the game good, with Crendor"
TortureVision Hm...I remember the times when people made these decisions based on the actual game and not on what "big RUclipsrs" are doing...I remember Totalbiscuit hailing GW2 as the best mmorpg ever. I tried it thanks to that, never trusted his word on a game ever again. Been playing WoW 10+ years, still seeing this game giving me 10 more. I play MMORPG'S for the change though, many seem to just want the game to stagnate in a time when it was "the best" to them so that might explain why I still have fun. The game is still good. Is it at its best ever? Not in my OPINION, but I'm sure others would disagree. Hopefully Blizzard can pick up the slack they've been giving and repeat MoP quality of content again.
Yeah, I was playing WoD quite frequently up until a couple weeks ago, but I just see zero reason to continue - I'm at a point where I don't even know if I'll come back for 6.2 although my sub is still up...
Anidem9 Unlike some people who did WoW content, Oxhorn for an example on this Fishing show, TB is still going and even more successful since he moved away from WoW, same with Jesse Cox (OMFGcata)
Damn it Crendor. I had to get back out of bed to check my Steam messages, but no one messaged me. I thought you were meant to put me to sleep with this series!
I like how Crendor was like, "Tell the people who you are," and TB took the opportunity to spend a minute letting us all know he was the top WoW content creator. I wouldn't have it any other way. RIP TB. You were the man.
TB talking about his old Archaeology video, now that's digging up a fossil.
***** Goddammit Ceomin, Goddammit
***** Man, that's actually the first video I think I watched of his... crazy that it was so long ago
Ceomin or semen?😂😂
Diego Corrales Ceomin, pronounced "see-oh-min"
but i see how the confusion is made, happens fairly often.
RIP John
Talkin WoW with the Total Biscuit
No shit
***** Holypeperonis you managed to get TB into this ? ;D
The Lord Get out..
***** it was a bit disappointing that TB didn't actually log on to his mage.
The Lord You are the lord, you know all!
Wowcrendor your TB impression is getting really good.
Wish TB n Crendor did a series like this back in the day. Very calming and nostalgic.. Rest easy Biscuit
That steam sound at 19 Minutes, my god xD I was searching for a message for so long
ルイジクス Me too, actually. xD
ルイジクス Me too.
ルイジクス im pretty sure everyone with a steam went to check their messages lol
ルイジクス I read this comment before i hit 19 minutes, Knew it was coming, and still scrambled to check my steam when I heard it
Pfew! I'm lucky I'm on phone!
It's so very nice to have these kinds of memories about such a great person. R.I.P. TotalBiscuit ❤
Never really knew TB other than him showing up on Crendor's channel, but he seemed like a great guy. Godspeed.
Not even Crendor could make TB download WoW again. Sadness :c
poyokirby Hey look, the people TB was complaining about at the end :D
Michael Kaminski His complaint is rather fair if you think about it, even Oxhorn reactivated again to join Crendor to fish with him... I bet he has about 20k somewhere to get the token from that...
CatSixty6 If something isn't worth 15 bucks to you it isn't worth 15 bucks to you, simple as that.
Michael Kaminski As TB has more RUclips money than God, I think it's more of a matter of principle. He said he wasn't coming back, and he stuck by his word.

Yes! These are great, keep them up! Very excited to listen to TB in this one :)
Azoh Wow. Wasn't expecting to see you here, you are the reason I started playing Zed
Masters9828 Been watching Crendor since way before I played league, his content is really nice!
the unseen blade
is the DEADLIEST
RIP TB, so sad you are gone
Rip Totalbiscuit... Looking back at all his videos and all the videos he's been in. Sad to see Hayven, and now him go.
That steam message got me so hard RIP
Please do Sips!
Vaxivop SOOOO MUCH YES!!!
Vaxivop I'm not sure if Sips' wife agrees with that.
JimiPain Hehe
Vaxivop Would me amazing :D
JimiPain Depends how big a Crendor fan she is.
As someone who grew up with Blu Plz! this interview really hits home for me
Been searching for something to listen to after we've lost TB and I think this will be the perfect thing for me since Crendor is so great and loveable RIP
some guy just disliked crendor's video? what a huge nerd.
Timothy Mcvastela I really like how that's just become a thing on Crendor and Jesse's channels. Nerd isn't even used the right way, but it's somehow just become the right way.
Rip TB

I can't believe 2 min in there's no fucking fishing unsubscribe

I loved that heavy ominous soundtrack in Blade's Edge Mountains. Perfectly fitting for that zone.
I think it's kind of interesting that a lot of popular youtubers had first created content for WoW or played it regularly. It seems like it really did play a big role in propelling people up in popularity, way before the monetization of youtube occurred.
This is for you, Totalbiscuit, The Burning Crusade Soundtrack in one playlist on my channel =)
I have no idea why RUclips suggested this, but man it made me sad.
May you rest in peace Totalbiscuit...
loved you two talking about the old wow days, i miss them but i still play the new expansions when they release just for the nostalgic factor
Good stuff, I remember when TB really started out making lot of videos (the wow cata beta videos that you guys talked about) was always excited seeing videos from him and Jesse from it and specially since only had 60% job when that was, then of course happy to see more videos (since they released few a day).

Had to come back to this one. RIP Total Biscuit 🙏
I spent most of this video just staring at the seagull pet in the background just thinking, "I don't have that...I WANT IT!"
I have a problem.
Amazing how one could disdain the game that essentially made him. Maybe having WoW during the low point in TB's life had something to do with it. Props nonetheless, TB is a legend.

TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit Not to discredit the work you put in now, but to say WoW had no part in your success is wrong.
2010topdog Good job I never said that then aye?
TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit Clearly you can play whatever games you want. It was the not grateful line. Being grateful is about positive, appreciating challenges, being thankful for what you got, being mindful. So many positive "feels" with grateful.

The first auchindon dungeon had amazing music, it was very similar to the Harem music in Diablo 2
Rest in Peace, TB.

7:49 "I pre-ordered my copy". Yup, that's video proof of Totalbiscuit pre-ordering a video game. xD
+Shadownet Spy I pre-ordered a few games years ago also. I learned how vile and unwelcome they are, then stopped doing it. People make mistakes and learn from them. Look at pre-orders today. ...i just realized what the "wow" of "wowcrendor" means...
...
...
...wow
***** -facepalm-
You and me both.
***** -wow-
TBF when watching Crendor it is incredible likely at some point something he would do would leave you dumbfounded with only one thing to say "Wow... Crendor...."
I joined WoW when TBC was launched and even then leveling was a pain in the ass.
i was half listening and i hit that moment when tb starts talking about twinks and my mind just went somewhere else XD omg
TBC > Nagrand > Nesingwary chain-quests... Just saying:
Those were some Epic times~
I Always Enjoyed his quests, just some special charm to them.
It's good their bringing him back for Legion, it was silly, that he wasn't allowed to hunt in Draenor.
That worgen starting zone video was the first video of TB i watched evar :P
Goddamn TB it's good to hear your voice again. I was one of those die hard fans that watched every Cata beta video. Oh the hype!
thank you for embodying yourself, TB
Damn man, One of the last long conversations with a dead man. RIP there is no more pain for you to feel.
Good talk, If anyone listened to Blue Plz or the later videos, TB knew where WOW was heading. WOD is a bad dream for everyone (PvP & PvE)
Brings back the feels as someone who started in TBC, such community back in those days.
Howling Fjord design and music
9 years on and I just realized I was with TB in a guild on Mazrigos. I'm super fast!
I still wait for him to appear as a guest in Cox&Crn in the Morning as "the weasel"
Man, wish I was cool enough to talk to Crendor about my WoW days. I don't know what it is, but dammit I love talking about this game whether it be about good times or ranting.
I remember when I was gearing for MC I farmed 12 hrs straight for Robe of Winter Night recipe. I have no idea how I did that, I don't have the patience anymore.
I twinked back in the day.
These are some of the best video's you done did.
TB's such a good guest, so much info and little dead air.
I remember when I had to CC things in early Cata.
I remember twinks, omg level 17 - 19 players in WSG, unbeatable, rogues and hunters were crazy, a part of me really enjoyed coming across them though
when that steam alert went off I alt tabbed all over the place trying to find out why my steam was open, lol
Ahh references to Badge Plz episode. Still listen to that one.
TB was with you in spirit... as the seagull right next to you in-game! :D lol
RIP TOTAL BISCUIT
12:00
If I remember correctly, Blizzard allows you to turn off your leveling, but then you can't do BGs with regular players who have it turned on. Which means twinks fight other twinks. They can't destroy lowbies anymore. That was a good move by Blizzard. I used to create semi-twinks, but it was just cruel killing people in 2 seconds while you were near invincible.
how about:
"You've been fishing with Crendor... seeya" as your outro?
Miss you, TB. WoW Classic is out and I think you'd have a fun time with Jesse and Crendor even just for nostalgia. Fucking sucks, man.
Came here thinking the same thing man. No ones truly dead while someone still remembers them.
i like these vids. im new to wow since draenor came out. its interesting to hear old players talk about it. makes me also want to watch their old vids
LOL was sitting in Blade's Edge when they mentioned it
Welcome to co-optional podcast,Jesse and Dodger could not make it today and crendor really wants to talk about wow!
I wish total would bring back his live podcast. I used to stay up late to listen to him.
He does the co optional podcast and "did" the TGS podcast. I also think he has some stuff on sound loud but I don't know if he streams that content :/
+Mr. J DickVinci Isn't the cooptional podcast just a rebranding of the TGS podcast?
Crendor have you considered making a seperate wow trial account for your guest to "Log on" and make a low level toon, boost it somewhat and then learn fishing for them so they can fish with you free without they paying for the game if they quit
Jacob Søndergaard thatd be a really good idea, but I'm guessin totalbiscuit wouldnt even have the game downloaded anymore, and he probably wouldn't download it again haha
Well one thing is to download a trial version, another is to pay for a game you dont play nomore
Jacob Søndergaard I haven't used a trial account in a long time but when I did it was like a near 30 gig dl, and Totalbiscuit isn't the sorta man to download something that big just for an interview. Unless they brought out a specific like trial version to download that's smaller he might do that
Jacob Søndergaard That's a good idea but it's not allowed. Blizzard would consider that as account sharing.
whole reason i love crendor is because of the voice
wait he said TBC had "crazy attunement" where in vanilla the attunement for Naxx was crazy expensive/grindy. I don't know, I kinda liked how undead (ghosts and skeletons, in particular) were immune to bleed effects back in the day.
whoa, I missed episode 3? And it was with Oxhorn? Hell yeah, gotta go catch up on that.
first time i saw TB was when he was hunting chinese farmers lol
Love these videos! Just as a little added thing, you should ask each guest what their favourite zone in the game is and go fishing there, would just be a nice touch in my opinion :).
I just got Majora's mask 3d and now whenever one of these comes up I can fish too!
Watching this video now, it’s bittersweet, I think.
this was great background sound while gaming
Have this horrible urge to play wow. It sucks. I know if I go back it's just going to be a waste of money.
SS4Nappa If you dont care about your wow account you could just find one of them private servers. P: Or pay 45k ish gold ingame for a month ? :)

Ceser1999 TB is aware, he did loads of paid promotions for it and did some casting for them. He seemed to get so hyped about it and played it so much he instantly got burnt out playing it.
XDarkFableX i am aware of this i only wanted to spread the knowledge amongst anyone interested in the comments

TortureVision
When the big WoW youtubers left, more took their place.
People still get insane amounts of views doing videos on 8bit games.
That steam message fooled us all.
This episodes should've been "Flying with Crendor" :p
Guys, let's spike that archaeology video for no reason ^w^
Yay, Crendor and Totalinviscuit!

I had a level 19 hunter that was OP from gear, before all the item enhancement nerfs. It was great fun while it lasted.
Wow. TB?! I haven't watched any of his stuff in ages, not since he quit WoW :(
Anidem9 you missed him becoming one of the biggest gaming personalities on RUclips.
SeaTimeless In the gaming industry in general one could say.
Anidem9 Unlike some people who did WoW content, Oxhorn for an example on this Fishing show, TB is still going and even more successful since he moved away from WoW, same with Jesse Cox (OMFGcata)
+Goraka91 You mean THE Jesse Cox.
TB will become the reappearing guest of this show
Titan with Genna was his best show on WCradio.
TRH was a good episode.
I miss the murloc!
9:13 Thought it was my steam
Damn it Crendor. I had to get back out of bed to check my Steam messages, but no one messaged me. I thought you were meant to put me to sleep with this series!
