Yo PoJo I am the guy who told you that you look short in your videos. If you want to do the Pitch Lake hit me up that is down in my area I am here till next Thursday.
Bake and shark is not Trinidad's national dish. Crab and Callaloo is. The more well known bake and shark booths are Uncle Sam's, Richard's and Patsy's. U should have put some tamarind sauce and chadon beni sauce. Always look for the booths with a long line. Yes the pepper sauce is made with scotch bonnet peppers

Yea bro agree to see the mix of the Indian culture and people mixed as you walked was interesting. I always knew the Indian influence was big there but as you walked it really showed in the people looks. (I mean no offense to anyone with this observation and comment 😅)

Correct!!! The USA did build the North Coast Road in the 40's, but it was built for easier access to the beach for recreational purposes by the locals, since they had occupied and taken over Macqoeripe Bay which was located in the Chaguaramas area along with Wallerfied(used as an airfield for their war planes) in the East of the island. Macqueripe was the Bay that was used by the US to anchor their war boats and submarines during WW2...

@DeeDiamond2981im trinibagonian and she's right a certain segment of the population DID NOT WANT HAITIANS IN THE COUNTRY. That's FACT. They did the same thing when Dominica was devastated by a hurricane. Also the indo population arrived in TnT as indentured labours Everything the Jamaican said was 100% FACTUAL
@Tunup1017 Jamaica might have the third largest Asian population, but Jamaicans are largely homogeneous people with 92% of them identifying as African. By the same token, ONLY 36% of Trinis identify as African and around the same percentage of Guyanese also identify as such, so it means in many cases Jamaicans do NOT look like Trinis and Guyanese and therefore are NOT related. How are Trinis and Guyanese mistaken for Jamaicans? Is there only one country in the world?
Numbers are incorrect. 75% black. 15% mixed or mulatto the remainder 8% consists of Indians, Chinese and white. That 92% is when people push the mixed under the black umbrella. A lot of Jamaicans loook like Trinis. Guyanese Indians don’t mix…. Guyana is a very racist country.

Bro i need to do that! Should i come to San Fernando? Can you message me on IG?
My ig is POJO THE BACKPACKER
Mad respect to you my bro 🫡🫡
Bake and shark is not Trinidad's national dish. Crab and Callaloo is. The more well known bake and shark booths are Uncle Sam's, Richard's and Patsy's. U should have put some tamarind sauce and chadon beni sauce. Always look for the booths with a long line. Yes the pepper sauce is made with scotch bonnet peppers
I didn’t know about the sauces until i tried them
How you mean what ever jah jah presents you have too give thanks for it man.
got some beautiful beaches up Laventille, better known as Lavontille that's how you say it in French

Yea bro agree to see the mix of the Indian culture and people mixed as you walked was interesting. I always knew the Indian influence was big there but as you walked it really showed in the people looks. (I mean no offense to anyone with this observation and comment 😅)
Man i want to find someone to take me in… so much culture here
@@PoJoTheBackPackeru will. Like Jamaica organically (and through ur vids as u post) I bet locals will reach out.
@@PoJoTheBackPackeralso want to point out. Many saying be careful there etc. technically Trinidad just safer than Jamaica (according to index’s that track that type sht) and u we’re totally fine in Jamaica. Both counties not considered “safe” and u showed if u are respectful and aware. U will be fine. 🤷🏽♂️ I trust a marine to be ok :)
No offense to Trinidadians, but Jamaican hospitality is just the best👌. It's just different. it's just nice, pure vibes❤
Would be cool to see some old military stuff here
Po Jo you do look Trinidadian and you sound like them 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Sound like a Trini? That’s an exaggeration lol he still has his American accent 😀

Who said Trinidad didn't want to take in Haitians??? And the Indians who came here are called Indentured . You have some reading to do..
@@DeeDiamond2981 the government said no years ago when they was running from the violence &, American president didn't want to take them in but there telling other Carribean island to take them in Dominican there neighbour said no,but they never get along Bahamas said no they ask Trinidad they said no even to help out the in the mission now on Haiti they said they want nothing to do with it,all the time Jamaica helps up nobody else, once in a while Bahamas would help out,

@DeeDiamond2981im trinibagonian and she's right a certain segment of the population DID NOT WANT HAITIANS IN THE COUNTRY. That's FACT. They did the same thing when Dominica was devastated by a hurricane. Also the indo population arrived in TnT as indentured labours

I can't wait to see you in Africa you should buy a mountain bike and ride across Africa. The best way to see the continent
That sounds amazing, I might try it.
Tunup needs to go get the duck sick.
Jamaica is far from homogenous. Do you know what the word means?

I’ve been to Trinidad, spent 3 months there a couple decades ago, and me and my family were not fans of the food. Not even my favorite fried chicken-KFC- was the same. There was one restaurant -a Cantonese restaurant- that was good. We had to cook our own food.
@shani5345 Well, he doesn't seem to agree with you.
@shani5345 Like I said, most diverse food scenes in the Caribbean many vloggers said the same thing he is saying. I seen you make the same comment about you and your family not like our food and we make callaloo from powder blah blah blah. Obviously you stay on videos about our mighty nation. Keep coming back for more 🇹🇹💯💪🏾
@@magicmike6129
I’m entitled to my opinion and it was shared by everyone in my family and step family. I never said Trinis make calaloo from powder. I said the calaloo is lost in some soupy white mixture and you can’t get to taste the amazing flavor of the calaloo. When I am throwing away june plum, seasoned or not, (don’t remember what y’all call it) it speaks to my experience of how food is seasoned in Trinidad because june plum is my favorite fruit. There’s things I liked about Trinidad but the food definitely wasn’t one of them.
U should try los cwagus

Why would we take Haitians which is 1500 km away, when we are only seven miles from Venezuela and we can literally see Venezuela from Trinidad. Little T&T must be the refugee capital? Haiti is Jamaica's geographical neighbor.
@@HRI_HK1 get educated you doing too much, stop making excuses like Trinidad dont have a plane, Trinidad dont want anything to do with them, one of mt trini friend said they too black & its not even the good looking Hatien coming in its the ugly ones i just stay quiet & said nothing
@@marcusmarcus3190 Clearly, like most Jamaicans you know nothing about the eastern caribbean, or when many Grenadians and Vincy's moved to Trinidad even in my own family, even Our greatest calypsonian mighty sparrow is a born Grenadian. @marcusmarcus3190 You don't know our history. Hatians and people from the island of Guadeloupe came to Trinidad in the 1800s that's where our creole culture comes from.
