Thanks for your help. I followed your method with the exception that I added a trickle charger to the vehicle. I obtained the same results as you. Thanks again. Good video.
No resetting done. There is a 3 yrs warranty .This is cheaper than the dealer cost is 800 + only last same years . Dealer's warranty is 2 yrs only. Oreilly still cheaper
@@andeesgarage Thanks, your video is indeed for me, same issue. I noticed the H6, the -17°C is 730 CCA while original GLC battery is 800 CCA, do you need the reprograming or anything else? Everything is ok?
Based on my internet research 12.60 or above is fully charged. The issue of original battery was not holding charge the new battery voltage was about 12.80 when I replaced it. The original battery was 3 yrs old
It wasn’t a very accurate way of testing it. If it’s a start stop vehicle that would be normal voltage. But that doesn’t mean the battery wasn’t faulty. Voltage readings when cranking would be a more reliable indicator
are you saying even if you replace the battery, you still need to take it to dealer to have the car/computers coded for new battery? just curious, i have a glc 300 as well with the exact same alert
Thanks for the info

Thanks for the video Andee. May I ask what will happen if you don’t use the memory module? Hoping it’s only driver settings/ or radio stations.
What about resetting to battery coding. If you don’t do that the car will keep charging the battery at higher rate and possibly damage the battery.

@@allanmendoza4476 but my car alternator keeps charging the battery at 14.6v after changing to new battery. Previously it was 12.5v - 13v
Hi, What kind of Super start AGM battery did you use? H6 or H7 AGM? Thanks
I got H6

No wonder why Mercedes charge 1000 buck for the second year of service. In my glb they crazy I’m goi to trade it for a Honda. Cheaper to service. It
Battery didn’t last long!
totally idiotic video, 12.55 is perfect value for battery, and without coding, this new battery will be dead again in few months
