I legitimately cried after watching this trailer. I knew this game was so much bigger than what people thought it would be and it makes me even more excited to play! Especially on my new Zelda OLED!! This game looks absolutely epic and just so much fun to play with all the crafting/fusing abilities, dungeons, new enemies, and just so much to explore!! Nintendo delivered and I never doubted them for a second.
I already know I'm gonna be singing cher's "if I could turn back time" every time I use the rewind or whatever it's called mechanic.

Matt Mercer as Ganondorf is everything I didn't know I needed in the new Zelda game.
It was definitely super emotional, tears welled up, that music was SO good and the voice acting, cinematic films- Zelda saying “you are not alone” I freaked out
Yooo anyone else get the “AVENGERS ASSEMBLE” vibe from that battle sequence?!!!!
I loved the "Link you just find me" that Zelda said at the end. Added so much emotion to everything.
Also if you pay attention to one of the frames with link riding a horse, he's wearing a new armor set with horns that look similar to the person from the mural.

I just recently watched the legendary BOTW trailer, and this is literally just as epic. I am so hyped now, with the way the music is synchronised with the actions at the end?? Just *chef's kiss* I have no clue as to what is even going on anymore, but in a good way! I honestly think I don't need any more information, I just wanna play the game like, right now 🤩

It’s very rare that a trailer makes me this hype for a video game. The last time I felt this type of excitement was when god of war was revealed and that says a lot about Tears of the Kingdom. This WILL be my game of the YEAR!

This game is quite a dilemma for me: do I stay up past midnight to play FIRST thing on May 12 after midnight, or get a good night's sleep and start playing early in the morning after my FIRST cup of coffee? Yes, it's a FIRST-world problem.

I think, that the final trailer will be couple of weeks or so before the game comes out. And that sound like Matt Mercer, cause I’ve been watching too many Critical Role here, where he does voices for their group as miscellaneous MPC for their D&D game.

I've honestly been very hesitant with my opinions on the game, because I feared that it would lose that LoZ touch with what I've seen so far. But rehydrated Ganon and more character interaction is giving me so much hope! Also, there's this part where someone talks to Zelda in what seems to be the castle, about Link being the ist defence line, and that person's outfit looked a bit like a twilight person imo.
What I'm still a bit sad about is that they gave us an official time line, just before botw and then they blew it to the winds with that game 😂. But I'm much more excited for Totk now!
I haven't played BotW, but that trailer kinda made me wanna play this one. KACHOW!

@@Eeowna Every time my nephew realizes I still haven't gotten BotW, says "You don't have that yet?" with this mix of surprise, confusion, but disappointment. It was the first game he bought when he got his Switch.
@@gracefulannie-grcflannie- oOoOO I hope you play BOTW. If anything to familiarize yourself with the mechanics, how big the world is, and letting yourself feel frustration when the weapons break LOL.
There's also Age Of Calamity although it's a warriors game (I don't think Nintendo has said if it's canon or not. It's more like alternate timeline type thing) but you get A LOT of story with the characters you see in BOTW. Idk if it'll even be relevant for tears of the kingdom but....I have like 200 hours in Age Of Calamity and I think it's worth it still. 😂
Annnnnnd there's also Skyward Sword which it's been speculated by Zelda theorists that there could be skyward sword references in tears of the kingdom or even returning characters. (but who knows! It's pretty interesting that they chose to release skyward sword HD and not wind waker or Twilight princess HD)

I’m new to Nintendo switch and pre ordered the new Zelda edition. I don’t know whether to play Totk or play Botw first. Is botw important to play to understand the story line more? Someone help me out pls
You’ll want to likely watch a skyward sword summary vid, and watch the cut scenes of breath of the wild on yt. That should give you everything you need without spending the money!

I have loved the Zelda games ever since they came out. But I’m terrible at playing them. I have trouble making the character do things. So I used to watch my teen daughter play, and she is very good. But she has her own family now, in her own house, so I have no way to watch them. The last Zelda game I ever tried to play was the Ocarina one. I’ve thought about buying Breath of the Wild and trying out the “cosy” aspects of it. Some games on the switch work for me, like Dreamlight Valley, Portia, Animal Crossing, etc, but Minecraft I do much better on the Mac. Should I just get Breath of the Wild and try it out, then Tears of the Kingdom later? Seeing this trailer and your reaction and the music and story hints make me want to try. Any suggestions?
If you're not into fighting or haven't any level of handiness at gaming I wouldn't get it. I was also pursuaded by others who call it cozy, and now I regret my purchase. If you don't mind trying untill you succeed then it might be for you, but I'm a fast quitter lol
@@vivalamew thank you so much for answering my comment, and for your advice. Maybe I should watch a video of someone playing it. The riding and flying look like fun! I like fishing and farming and mining (I get into Minecraft mining for HOURS), but I do get bored and want to do something else…I did get reasonably good at fighting Minecraft mobs and bosses in Portia… I’ll see if anyone else has input to offer. @@Carol-Bell always a good idea to see reviews or playthroughs! I forgot to say that BOTW doesn't have any difficulty settings, so it's supposed to be challenging enough for all players. And the enemies get progressively more difficult depending on how long you play, also called 'the blood moon'. So while you are out exploring, an enemy that was reasonably challenging before has suddenly become way worse. That gave me anxiety personally. I can recommend a similar game with an open world, and puzzles and things in them but with a whole set of difficulty settings so you can play specifically set for your ability level, and that game is called Immortal Fenyx Rising! It has a greek mythology theme with some humor in it, maybe it's a good alternative, it's also way cheaper and it goes on sale regularly. Just my 2 cents 😅

Isn't Ganon the beast-like monster, the final boss in BOTW. And this man is actually GANONDORF, the Gerudo personification of Ganon? Got really confused because you're calling Ganondorf as Ganon. I know that lore-wise they're essentially the same being. But...

So the tears of the kingdoms are the characters. Zelda, Ganondorf, Riju, Sidon, and the new Rito character have a Tear. In the mural there are 7 tears.
I assume the missing 2 tears are Link and Yunopo.
I think we are going to help them get the tears.
Zelda is doing her own trails and hopefully we will play as her to do them. Also I think that one girl that looks like Zelda and Zelda is dressed like her is a past Zelda. I think our Zelda is stuck in the past and that’s why we can’t find her.
