It must be terribly frustrating to be in your situation. Personally my heart belongs to 100 lb Labrador. I remember in the days of the Pitbull Panic my cousin was told even though her yard was fence that she had to build a a dog pen with a roof on it to keep her dog in when he was unattended outside and he wasn't allowed to be walked without a muzzle. They also had to pay for that special license. @@dixierae3442 I'm biased, but I often think many big dog owners understand what dog behaviours are utterly unacceptable and teach dogs to behave. There's further no difference in being irresponsible over having a large dog bite and having a small dog bite. Bites are not acceptable.
The funniest case on Bondi by far in my opinion has to be the silicon balls. Not because of the balls themselves- but because the boyfriend was so adamant about the dog keeping his ballsack intact. Like there was no negotiation, the dog wasn’t gonna lose those nuts.
To be fair its kinda sad, as we know that silicone 'sweats' same way as breast implants. And those silicone sweats can cause issues in humans, let alone in dog...

That way he could keep his testis, nice and big, and be a big more laid back. Plus he can reproduce in the future if need be (by going off the pill). So I don’t know why they jumped to that conclusion. I’m having a guess that Chris did indeed bring up the pill option, but the gf/bf didn’t like it and made a scene. Because honestly- I find it very hard to believe that Chris wouldn’t think about putting a dog on meds for a certain condition. And you gotta remember, it’s a vet show, a lot of behind the scenes. So we can never be sure if other options were discussed and this one was just the one put in. But like- I find it very unusual silicone was chosen. I’m not vet, but what would other pieces of fat have done?
Its seems that Gizmo was experiencing pain and so was finding relief by what he was doing to his owners. The clamping onto his owners, the purring and the biscuit making are all signs that he was trying to get pain relief for his hip pain. There is always a reason a cat does something that is strange within their behaviour. A cat is never just being mean or being horrible. If you have a cat that is behaving strange, first take them to the vet to see if they have any health issues. Once health is clear, watch their behaviour and try to find out what they are trying to tell you
No sometimes cats are just being pains. Mine knocks things over when she wants something. Started with her throwing her bowls and she realized it gets my attention to refill it. Now she moved to cups for attention.
I love when people bring in animals like chickens. Animals that are usually just cogs in the machinery, producing something for humans to profit from. It warms my heart whenever I see a person seeing the individual animal and tends to their needs with care to make sure they are okay. More, much more, of this, please.
@@kalabell12 ah thats adorable! I raised 8 chickens over the last 2 years to roam the yard and lay eggs. I would play them music before I moved out of my parents house. Sang to em, gave em treats. I couldnt take her with me when I moved but my parents make sure to give her all the romaine lettuce and tomatoes she wants! A little bit of dog food here and there too. All of those birdies get so spoiled by their grandparents ugh. Omg I felt for that last lady who's cat passed under aesthetician! I instantly choked up! I've never been through it but I know the pain of losing an animal and all the horrible feelings you go through.
The one at the dairy farm reminded me of a story of my vet that she shared with us. She and I had become friends over the years, and even as a teen I used to go sit at the clinic and help out of I could, but mostly I just loved being there and learning stuff connected to my passion. And she was the most fun and nice person to be arround. So, as to become a vet, part of the final exam was to feel inside some cows I think there were like 3 cows, of which one was pregnant and the rest were not. And she was bound to fail. Actually, she was really short, so she would not be able to reach the womb even If her life depended on it. She just couldn’t reach. 🤷🏼♀️ But luckily for her (sometimes cheating might be ok, she wasn’t going to work with cows anyway) one of her male classmates that had his turn before her, whispered which one was the pregnant one to her while he was om his way out and she was on the way in. So yeah. She nailed it. Sometimes I think that If it hadn’t been for her classmate, she wouldn’t have become a vet, I’d never met her, we’d never became friends and as to that I’d never mer that beautiful (both inside and outside) woman who also was my mentor when I was a teen. ❤️ Oh and btw, others who have heard this story has asked ”why couldn’t she just stand on a stool to reach better”, so I wanna ad that standing on a stool does not make your arms longer.
Chris needs to write a book on his patients and their reactions but Rusty was definitely the smartest. All 3 vets are truly wonderful with their patients.

I remember in the days of the Pitbull Panic my cousin was told even though her yard was fence that she had to build a a dog pen with a roof on it to keep her dog in when he was unattended outside and he wasn't allowed to be walked without a muzzle. They also had to pay for that special license. I'm pleased to say that those ridiculous rules no longer exist
Oddly enough I've been surrounded buy big breeds both my own and those of friends and oddly enough the only time I've ever been bitten was by a 1 lb toy poodle. Imagine having a dog that's so small you have to carry it in a purse in case somebody happens to step on it.😕
@@dixierae3442 I'm biased, but I often think many big dog owners understand what dog behaviours are utterly unacceptable and teach dogs to behave. When I adopted my pitty, I only had experience with smaller dogs. First thing we did was book time with a trainer. If my dog reacts badly, someone gets hurt. I took that seriously. Thankfully, she come with only some separation anxiety, but no aggression we had to work out.
I get it, I own a pit bull mix. But I still thought the chihuahua was hilarious.
You have to remember that if a tiny dog bites you its not goingto put you in hospital or kill you. A big dog can and will put you in hospital.. That is the difference
@@verityowens9638 Small dogs attacking a child will scar both physically and emotionally just the same. Worse, small dogs attacking humans in any form can lead to further things. You don't need a large bite to cause nerve damage, leave permanent scars - especially in the face, or transmit disease. There is absolutely no excuse for dogs being bite-y. There's further no difference in being irresponsible over having a large dog bite and having a small dog bite. Bites are not acceptable.
I am LIVING for Gizmo’s owners that is the kind of joking relationship I wish to have 😂

Hello 👋 Erin
How are you doing?
My husband and I are like this. Every day. People lose their minds laughing when we get going.
Hello dear 🌹,
How are you doing
She said "I'll just get meself a dog then!" 😅
Carol the cat lady is my kind of person! So sweet, funny and loves her kitties to bits! ❤❤
I loveeeed that one
@@Glittertrut I agree, I personally don't believe we should be putting anything like that in our bodies let anyone animal bodies. It's a funny video, but saame tme sad because it'ss not greasy over time.
Well, to be fair, both owners are stereotypes of " pimp it fancy, it just must look good " . No-brainers at a high standard...
@@Glittertrut true. My worry was the silicone too. That aspect I really didn’t enjoy. I thought it would have been better to put the dog on some sort of medicine honestly.

I love when people bring in animals like chickens. Animals that are usually just cogs in the machinery, producing something for humans to profit from. It warms my heart whenever I see a person seeing the individual animal and tends to their needs with care to make sure they are okay.
More, much more, of this, please.
For real, I have a pet rooster and I’d empty my savings if he needed vet care.
@@kalabell12 ah thats adorable! I raised 8 chickens over the last 2 years to roam the yard and lay eggs. I would play them music before I moved out of my parents house. Sang to em, gave em treats. Same with the ducks I raised. All the birds have names except 4. Couldn't come up with any good ones! I miss my baby idgie though, she was my duck. I couldnt take her with me when I moved but my parents make sure to give her all the romaine lettuce and tomatoes she wants! A little bit of dog food here and there too.
All of those birdies get so spoiled by their grandparents ugh. Lol ♡
Edit: Oh here are the names: for the ducks we have Miss Idgie and Ruth (or ruthers, I love the movie fried green tomatoes!), for the chickens we have Hershey, Daisy, Phoebe, and lil Peep (she was named that because she never shuts it! And still makes peeping sounds as a hen sometimes when she sees me. She hates everyone but me!), then we have the newest addition to the family I raised a few months ago. Only found a good name for one because she is the color of A peach! Her name is Peaches. She is shaped like one too, big girl. The others I havent thought of good names yet but one I want to name Turnip. She always has her head in the ground diggin.
One day my baby Idie got hurt by my brother's dog. She hopped right into the fenced area and almost killed my baby. But the dog was just protecting the kids she thought. I immediately was callin vets and took her home with me. One of the vets I called said they had no appointments for 3 weeks because their doctor was on a vacation who saw all the birds....about 30 minutes later I got a call from the doctor saying she dropped her vacation to see my duck because she missed seeing birds ever since this covid stuff! She told me to bring her in immediately the next day as soon as possible. I got a call and Idgie was fine just a lil sore and the vet told me all how she loved giving idgie dog food, bananas, applesauce, and all these treats. She was laughing and giggling.
I may be scared of most birds but the birds I raised helped me and I would do ANYTHING for em.
@@ohhey9129 awww I love their names! My roo’s name is Onyx. He’s a black australorp and super sweet! He got pecked in the eye as a chick so he’s blind in that eye, but he’s still healthy and living his best life!
I think my vet was surprised at first when I started taking my cockerel to see him. He'd been mauled by someone's dog and took a long time to recover. I think after the third time, where I described the sling I'd made for him from a cut up blanket and an artist's easel to help him stand, the vet finally just accepted that this strange lady and her invalid chicken weren't going to go away. I think he secretly enjoyed our visits 🐓
Less than 2 months ago I had to rush my rooster to the vet because he had been poisoned, he was almost dead, lying on the ground, his head hanging, beak open, excessive saliva... They saved his life, he was hospitalized for a week, another week on medication and thank god i have him home singing all the time again
Thank goodness! I bet that you were relieved :3
I hope your boy is doing better now :[
Gotta take care of your dinner!
I appreciate the family who brought the chicken in so much. Most people just wouldn’t even think about bringing in an animal like that to the vet. You can see how much they care about her
Shame the kid is likely the cause of scaring her to the point of a sprain :/
@@ChichiPeeif I understood correctly, the mom said it was a neighbor’s child that grabbed daisy too hard, not any of her own kids

Please restrict footage of vets in their swim trunks. It's just too much for a red blooded woman to cope with.
Cannot stand owners who let their dogs get like Bella.
Bad for everyone especially the dog.
Some animals just really hate being at the vet's office.
and it's never the dog's fault, either! it's entirely on the owners to teach their dog how to behave and how to not behave. even reinforcing the behavior for a second can have *horrible* long term affects on the dog!
I mean, we don't know the full story there. We don't know how long they've had Bella, what her experiences have been.
The last one with the little cat lady made me so happy! She’s so cute and I can only hope to be as happy as her in my old age! I can only hope to be as awesome as Carol when I’m her age.
Why can’t they give Bella the tablet at home? Also if they know she bites why doesn’t she come muzzled & coned?
Seems like it’d be less stressful for everyone
Ikr i always give my dogs their tablets
I put my tablets in some bread with peanut butter...or those tablet pill concealing treats you can get at pet stores. Much better and the dog just thinks they are getting something tasty.

10:54 gizmo- splats whole face in the water to drink
He really dosen't have a choice. His face is so flat that his hair gets in the water too. These cats have to really turn their heads down to eat or drink. Not like a normal cat that had a muzzle. I had a blue Persian with an even flatter face than that. He had to wear a bib at mealtimes. (Jan Griffiths).
That's probably because his face is a pancake

The one at the dairy farm reminded me of a story of my vet that she shared with us. She and I had become friends over the years, and even as a teen I used to go sit at the clinic and help out of I could, but mostly I just loved being there and learning stuff connected to my passion. And she was the most fun and nice person to be arround. So,
as to become a vet, part of the final exam was to feel inside some cows I think there were like 3 cows, of which one was pregnant and the rest were not. ❤️
Oh and btw, others who have heard this story has asked ”why couldn’t she just stand on a stool to reach better”, so I wanna ad that standing on a stool does not make your arms longer.
Chris needs to write a book on his patients and their reactions but Rusty was definitely the smartest. All 3 vets are truly wonderful with their patients.
I'd be grumpy too if my face looked like it was hit with a shovel.
