I have tried a leave in spray like Obia or Shea Moisture coconut leave in spray and oil. After a few days for adding leave in spray, though. My hair lasted. I reset my hair immediately after though. I use to use a hair steamer but the way my lazy is set up. I will try the braid out. I usually only flat twist or regular twists in sections. Lasts long and stays elongated like waves after a blow dry.

Jayla Vincent no. You may get heat damage. Hopefully no one is all up in your scalp to see the new growth. I only blow dry once when I wash and apply moisturizers and protectants to my hair. Helping out since no one answered. Blow drying is my best friend since my hair has gotten longer. Hope this helps a little.
Def definition over volume for me..I love seeing the waves from a twist out or curls from shingling or whaeva the look you're going for the more defined the better but I don't mind a little frizz at the roots either..goals!💯😊

I prefer definition only cause the style last longer. As the curls fall, my hair becomes more voluminous so it's 2 hair styles in one. Defined for 2 days and undefined & voluminous for 2 days. If I start off voluminous, my style last for 2 days at most before it starts to shrink back up
Latrese S. take care of your ends. You have to retain the length you are growing. Keep your hair (especially your ends) moisturized so it doesn't break off & you lose length.
