- Welcome to my bank holiday! The steels are in at the job with the dangerous chimney. We're now building the birdcage for the Dormer.
This wall plate is 190 year old and it's still strong, no treated timber, no men with burnt hands.

I've only met a female roofer 30 odd years ago at Bolton tech college she only stayed about 3 days and there was a clueless Asian having a go and on the scaff part of erecting a scaffold he left a long leaning against a wall not fixed too awt ant it came down and flattend my foot I had steely boots on but it completely missed the to part oooooo I was blowing funnily enough I never seen him again after that day and I was suspended with no pay for 2 weeks and had too work on site instead I almost got the bullet so I count my small blessings ahahaa take care all😂
