This is at 530 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214, close to Elm Hill Pike. Used to love shopping in here and have some "Olan Mills" pictures taken. Also loved eating at that Sub Depot next door. Sad to see it like this, but thanks for the memories!
There's an abandoned 1990s Kmart in Johnson City, TN that closed in 1994. There's ALSO an abandoned Kroger right next to it! You should explore it. The Kmart closed due to the brand new Supercenter that opened down town there. It's super cool.

There's a big kmart in clio Michigan that has all the signs still up. Been watching for a long time. U should do more junkyard videos. Keep up the amazing work
I used to eat at the Sub Depot frequently when I worked nearby. It always did great business, even after Kmart closed. I'm very sorry to see that they are no longer in business. The last few years of that particular Kmart was sad. The store was really run down & the interior was very dirty.
That Kmart looked like it is vintage! ❤ Way back many years ago when I was a little kid and teenager growing up! 😄

This is the Kmart in Donelson, TN right next to Thomas Nelson Publishers, which is now Harper Collins Punlishers. I worked for Thomas Nelson about 22 years ago. I was there for 13 years. It was great to run over to Kmart on our lunch break and run errands, or just do some shopping! There was also a Piggly Wiggly grocery store next to it to the left, which is now a park and fly, which I guess belongs to the airport. Ruby Tuesday was also another great place to eat, and I noticed two or three weeks ago when I had to pick up my daughter from the airport, that the restaurant had shut down as well. Good memories of days gone by!

Wallie you probably don’t know it but I collected a LOT of artifacts from that Kmart when it was open AND when it was closing. Including a price checker sign, a 5 gallon bucket, the “PHARMACY” and customer service signs, a trophy, a price gun, and a LOT more

All,the Kmart Stores that have closed permanently, and left abandoned, have been taken over by Kroger, Meijer Stores and U-HAUL Storeage and Truck,Rental Centers. Except for Kmart Store #1 where Kmart's first started in 1962,in Garden City, Michigan.
Kmart Store #1,has been Demolished, and is a vacant lot,and LA FITNESS GYM on the site of the old Kmart Store #1. 0:00

So sad. This is across the interstate from the airport on Donelson Pike. I worked at this Kmart in the late 70s to help get myself through college. it was a great part-time job. Next door used to be a grocery store that turned into a park and fly. Rumor is the entire property is going to the ground at some point and a hotel will be built on the land. The location is 530 Donelson Pike. Thanks for sharing,
I used to shop there. I even did inventory in that K Mart and the grocery store.
When I was 10, I took Tae Kwon Do classes at Dye's Tae Kwon Do, which became Donelson Tae Kwon Do, which is now where Erika's Tailoring is located. We held a demonstration at this K-Mart to raise money for St. Judes Children's Hospital called "St. Judes Kick-athon" I broke my first board here!

I grew up in Antioch,TN right outside of Nashville, so this is cool to see.
I believe Mason City Kmart closed in 2018 as well but it got reused to harbor freight and Ashley furniture and sleep number bed and anytime fitness. Glad it didn't get demolished
New fan Wallie. If you by any chance are ever in South Florida. There is the final Kmart in Kendall. I’d highly recommend it. Maybe you can help the store gain some publicity

If you ever visit Joppa Maryland and go to the joppa Amish market there it’s inside an old kmart they kept the Kmart colors and all it’s really cool
I didn't shop at Kmart very often but I do miss Kmart being an option

I remember going to this Kmart when it was closing, it was somewhere right after the holidays when it closed up shop. I didn’t usually go to this Kmart as much because I had a Kmart right next door from my house, overall good memories simply being at a Kmart store.

Theres an abandoned Sears at the great lakes mall in mentor ohio, its been abandoned since sept 2017 and still sits vacant its in pretty bad shape

There used to be 2 Kmarts in Wichita Falls and 1 in Altus, OK. Currently they are now Atwoods.
Wow. The sams mills photo center. We took at that time my 5 year old to the local Kmart in town of conway, sc. Then the store died. Only wish I had camera freak then. The Kmart been empty for years..... today is her birthday she is 17 years old. Where did the time fly..... thank wallie
At the Asheville Mall they have an Abandoned Sears there and at the Westgate mall in Spartanburg, Asheville also has an abandoned Kmart that is supposed to be converted into a grocery store

Our rural king where I once was employed was a Kmart. I had to quit due to my health in 08. Part of the tire shop was torn out and the pharmacy q few years ago to put pet food there. When I worked there there was stickers on some of the vents that said Kmart this is in clarksville tn. Our very first Kmart. The one on Madison Street is now Marshall's, Ross, Beals, and planet fitness, and the shoe rack. Our other one on Wilma Rudolph is now a at home store. Rural king still looks like a old Kmart for the most part other than a few things taken out. You should go check it out this is in clarksville tn

I haven't been in a Kmart since 2003 (Houston area, where they completely pulled out of at the time) and it is just sad to see that they are pretty much extinct now. I hope these buildings get repurposed into something useful for the area, otherwise they will become victims of urban decay like the Ames you visited many years ago. I hope Eddie Lampert is proud of what he's done 🤬🤬
The building I work at in Colleyville Texas was a old Kmart it was separated into 3 different businesses.

The Super Kmart in Medina, Ohio is still there! In between April and September they’re supposed to demolish it and build a Meijer.

Sears might be making a comeback because they have reopened a couple locations that were permanently closed including the Burbank California location just reopened so it could be a possibility maybe one day Kmart could reopened hopefully

That Ruby Tuesday was lost to covid. The police cameras are because its close to the airport and the overflow from the flight parking place.
