Thank you for your helpful videos, they are great! I'm 3 weeks post op,it still hurts but 4 to 6 daily paracetamol help with the discomfort. I'm a fit 69 year old and looking forward to my 150 mile a week cycle rides and walking in the Lake District. For those of you contemplating this procedure you will know when you are ready. I was in decline for 8 years and then 2 months ago had an acute flare up. It was extremely painful and I could not walk 2 metres! Time to get things sorted! All the best to you.
Thank you for you experience! I’m 3 weeks post-op had a transfibibular fusion with an anterior plate and an Achilles’ tendon lengthening. No pain, no meds, 37 year old. It’s quite an experience. Don’t play dumb games as one would say haha!
Hi Kenny. Well done mate! I think my discomfort is due to my second cast being too tight.I was more comfortable with the first. At my two week post op review I had little swelling.I think my swelling is still minimal and I'm discomfort free but for the area where the lateral plate is fitted. As you are totally pain free,do you think the surgeon trimmed your nails only? :-)
Hey there is anyone who did this procedure after foot drop I did This process on June 2 2021 because I was suffering from foot drop Now I’m thinking that what will the outcome for this
