It's about damn time because we actually go see these particular players in these different sporting events and not just the school these athletes are attending, but year's and decades these colleges and universities have been profiting off of these different athletes, so I totally agree 👍 these athletes should be getting paid for their abilities in their sport's.
Hey great video ! What if I’m an athlete that does club sports? Im a boxer that goes to the university of Southern California. I’m not apart of the ncaa regular athletic department but I box for the boxing club for usc . I will be competing at the collegiate level though . Could I still get an NIL deal ?
Just wondering, if I’m a Texas High School football player that has committed to a college can I pursue NIL? Because I won’t be playing High School football anymore but NIL is banned in Texas for high schoolers. Just wanted to clarify and make sure. Thanks
Players saying they get no compensation is untrue. For years, these folks have been paid residuals for likeness used in video games. As early as 2001 in fact. A former Clemson offensive lineman told me he and every player featured in video games, just their numbers were used, were paid residuals. Bernie, he's my man, but he should be ashamed for supporting student athletes be listed as employees by the school. Hell, if they want to do that, then why not just classify all students as employees, because at undergraduate and law school, we students have to sign an agreement that these schools can use our name and likeness to promote without we students receiving a cent. Enough with helping those being cut a lot of slack in a blatant in everyones face way thay they already are.
Why bother to have them go to school. The pay is your free ride and the ability to show off your skills to make an NFL team! An allowance or set spending money is all I would want to see change.
NIL will ruin a lot of college players. Coach made me mad so I’m transferring. I’m going to get in my Mercedes and go now. 😂 going to ruin the college game as we know it. It will be not be recognizable in 5 years.
Email me if you’d like to sponsor the President of men’s lacrosse at MSU in Baltimore - kojoh3@morgan.edu I want the youth players in Baltimore to get the gear they need through East Coast Dyes!

Me

i keep breaking mark 2fs, i could use a couple weapon x's😏
Another RUclipsr named Deestroying, who was a D1 kicker, chose his NIL over playing college football. You should research his case.
His story is wild, but look what he helped achieve. His name will forever be noted in the change of the rules.
scholarships is peanuts compared to what they make off athlete so College athletes should get paid.
so how does this work with high school athletes? do they get paid also? and how are they able to get paid from social media?
No just collegiate

With NIL, do schools ever have to pay their school athletes for marketing and advertising when students are used?
I wonder if this is going to make players go to others schools that they can get more playing time on order to get more NIL money
Yes
Yyoooo no way I just asked y’all about this a couple of weeks ago😳😳😳
We will have more information to follow in the coming weeks
Could I get a sponsorship from ECD if I go into the NAIA instead of the NCAA
NAIA athletes could have always had sponsors
What is NAIA?
@@johnsuperhist5219he just saying something that he knows nobody knows
Greg, how could outsiders (non-athletes/buisnesses) get involved in the investment of NIL?
Great question, from us or just in general
In general

I am not totally sure of the rules in Texas so I would check with coaches or athletics directors.

How many goals do I need to put up to get a "sponsor" as a incoming freshman
Great question... remember it's a team game not all about stats
you can not be paid to play for example you can not be [paid based on your performance
How do we apply for a sponsorship?
We don't have any applications yet, but we might have to create one

If I go d1 can you sponsor me
He can sponsor you if you go D3 as well

@@owen_stret same
Don't need to go D1 for a sponsorship!
Ok then just wate till 2027

I am in the 2023 recruit class for Clemson university and I would like to no more about your sponsorships
They should have to pay their tuition then like the rest of the university.
It's like emancipation for college athletes.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.. Year one will have its hiccups but I'm sure they will figure out a good system
As opposed to players not getting anything while building up the schools revenue. Everybody gets paid but the players. It's not right.
