Took the sport by storm and only a rope kept him from winning the games as a rookie. Is the only rookie everyone knew is going to be the future champ and likely the champ for multiple years. 3. Love cuts from 40-30 but for 30-20, as long as no events post this cut are specialist events, the cut fine. The idea that a specialist can impact the leaderboard on the final day with a home run event adds to the podium drama.
How was Matt Fraser not even in the conversation for the greatest rookie? Man got 2nd at his first games only behind the greatest Crossfitter of all time.
Barclay could’ve won, but it seems like he has to sound like the smartest guy in the room. If he would’ve made a point with all the statistics he gave then he may have won. He had the best points and the most facts but never made a clear and concise point.
