Yup comment section is right, Anthony Richardson is younger, he's more athletic, he's played football for a shorter amount of time and he has a canon for an arm. Levis is Example 1 of the NFL just deciding a dude is Josh Allen and refusing to come off it. Also Stroud and Young have as much off-field leadership and team leadership ability as Levis. Scouts just fell in love with Levis.
Definitely think I'd lean towards the opinion of NFL Scouts over you. I'd rather have Richardson for the age factor for sure, but Levis also has no help, a horrible team with an even worse offensive scheme. I think that there is a significant chance that he's very successful in the NFL.
@@jacobsmith7679 The post snap stuff has to show up though along with the anticipation. And since Levis is getting picked high, more than likely the team getting him won't have ALL the help on offense to hide his weaknesses.
How many times did Levis get a blindsided tomahawk tackle this year? Results: turf toe, dislocated left shoulder and finger. There is no time for finesse with a crappy O-Line. Bryce (im too small to be #1) and CJ (i had all day in the pocket cause my line was great) and Richardson (I still need to be schooled) don't measure up to the leadership, scrapiness and overall marquis potential this guy has. Look at CJ's tape in Michigan game Kurt - he was a different qb that day when the pressure was on him. This has to be factored into the eval.
He ran a similar offense in college the last two years, so that's promising. I didn't think he or Richardson were ready to start day 1, so I like that they're taking it slow with him
I actually came away from this video more optimistic on Levis as a prospect than I was before. Inconsistency implies that he can do the things he needs to, he just needs to clean his game up. I’m a Vikings fan, I’d love to see them bring him on board and sit for a year behind Kirk and be O’Connell’s personal shadow.
Evaluation of the QB has gotten more interesting than ever with the success of many QBs being questioned coming out and with the latest Hurts. It's basically uo to the scheme and the work ethic of the player now more than ever
I feel like he needs the backup mentorship spot. If he is drafted as a starter I think it's 50/50. But if he can have a season or two behind a veteran player, that could make him a serious contender.
@Terrance Ramirez Yeah, Matt Ryan may not be great, but he has knowledge to share. Even if it's only one season. That also begs the question do you want a team who can win a super bowl, or a team that for years consistently has a chance to win it.
When has this ever worked? Mahomes and Rodgers are the only two significant examples coming to mind. 95 out of 100 you are drafting a QB on day one or even day two because you have a significant need at the position, and not because you are drafting an heir apparent as a contender. That means most rookie QBs won't have the time to develop behind a veteran because they either are expected to take over sooner than later, or they will be thrown into the fire because your veteran option sucks more than expected.
@dEntz88 Okay? I just said it's 50/50 if he does good. But I think having someone mentor him would be awesome for him. He has the skill he just doesn't have the knowledge.

Levis will be a turnover machine in nfl he just wings it that don’t work in nfl… in the modern game you “must” get rid of the ball and throw the receivers open Purdy was awesome at it. Qb’s that stands back in the pocket and wait for the receiver to come open, like the jets qb, don’t last long.
Nobody will be completely NFL ready when the college game is not the same that you play in NFL. Reads, speed, defense, concepts are way faster and precise. He will have success after a NFL coach teach him how to play in NFL. But need that time to understand the league before play if they play him right away is going to be a bust.
The biggest problem I see with the NFL these days is that QB's rarely get the chance to develop into anything anymore. Far too short a video for me to make an educated opinion but I will say post snap is far more valuable. You can teach book smarts, that’s literally how you get them but post-snap is reacting and re-reacting and that’s far harder to teach. I think quarterback is far more mental than people give it credit for so I truly don’t care about his size or arm strength. “Can he operate under pressure?” is the most important question for quarterbacks. Literally every video saying he’s bad post snap , is the exact same play vs Florida lol , like dude can’t have a bad play or two? I mean shit even Luck struggled post snap and threw multiple head scratchers a game.
@@AlexRollinsNFL sure there are gonna be a lot of bad examples for every player. But just off the tape it’s really hard to see where the first read or where he was coached to go with the ball. Really the only way to know what went through these players minds is sitting down and going through tape with them. Given the fact he had almost half the time to throw as the other 3 and literally no even SEC honors players let alone and all American or a future draft pick on his offense. His job was head and shoulders harder than any of the other QBs in this draft besides maybe McKee. Levis is overrated It’s widely accepted Bryce young would have Andrew luck hype levels if he was 6’4” he’d be one of the greatest QB prospects in the last 10 years tbf. That’s sad he’s phenomenal but he will get killed in the nfl Caleb Williams is the next superstar watch
I think he's 5'10/5'11, but he's still super undersized. He's thinner than Wilson and Murray. And yes, Caleb Williams is the real deal haha. Watched a video on him before. Might be an even better prospect than Luck and Lawrence. He's that special
Bryce Young is smarter than all of them. He could be successful no matter where he goes but AR has to get a really good system . I don’t think he is all that smart
Shannon and McVey coaching tree loves to get to cute when calling plays. Just run the zone blocking scheme and run playaction boot off it like the old Denver Broncos and Kubiak with the Texans.

What’s a good pro comp for levis?
Matt Stafford (high end), Carson Wentz (low end).
@@tonycrawford3818 i see someone watched that franchise guys video lol
@@rthraitor Hell yeah. That dude legit. He should be a 100k by now.
@@tonycrawford3818 fr amazing content
Ryan Tannehill
Calijah Kancey
Literally every video saying he’s bad post snap , is the exact same play vs Florida lol , like dude can’t have a bad play or two? I mean shit even Luck struggled post snap and threw multiple head scratchers a game.
I could show you a million examples, that was just the best one to portray where he struggles
But this was the exact conversation with players like Lamar and Allen, and the opposite said of players like Rosen and Darnold . Lol that’s why it’s always a crap shoot.
As an SEC fan, I don’t see all the hype. He wasn’t ever impressive
Levis is overrated It’s widely accepted Bryce young would have Andrew luck hype levels if he was 6’4” he’d be one of the greatest QB prospects in the last 10 years tbf. Unfortunately he’s smaller than Kyler Murray(probably 5’8” lmao) and therefore written out of a lot of peoples minds. That’s sad he’s phenomenal but he will get killed in the nfl
Caleb Williams is the next superstar watch
I think he's 5'10/5'11, but he's still super undersized. He's thinner than Wilson and Murray. And yes, Caleb Williams is the real deal haha. Watched a video on him before. Might be an even better prospect than Luck and Lawrence. He's that special
Not everyone is gonna be Josh Allen and also since Daboll left the Bills it seems Josh becomes somewhat more erratic compared to the year before
I hope he booms but we’ll see!
I don't have anything to say here so I'm just gonna leave a comment with a lot of words and a lot less substance for engagement.
My entire channel summed up in one sentence ^
Do one on Anthony Richardson next
It's coming
Bryce Young is smarter than all of them. He could be successful no matter where he goes but AR has to get a really good system . I don’t think he is all that smart
Shannon and McVey coaching tree loves to get to cute when calling plays. Just run the zone blocking scheme and run playaction boot off it like the old Denver Broncos and Kubiak with the Texans.
couch potato GM’s are checking in here.
Obviously the team that Drafts him probably won't make playoffs.... I would start him like week 14 until the end of the season..so he goes into next season with some live action experience..
He looks like Tannehill lol
