I’ve found your channel thanks to your comment about being violin player (to put it shortly) And here I’m surprised by not just a honestly speaking young lovely lady but also a very brave and mostly important astonishing singer ! If I would heard this alive I would thought you must be a fallen angel indeed ! Thanks for taking opportunity to speak about your personal struggles and giving courage to others. I‘ve personally a different view and approach to (not just a mental) illness and speaking of “valid” (self-value?) it gets a little funny but thats about many things of our handmade world and our inner worlds which are missing contact points with reality more and more (thats my using of opportunity to “speak” - we humans are playing games and too often gets stuck in them playing roles not just outside but also inside ourselves without even realizing it properly) But I agree with what you are saying..I hope my english make sense. So keep it rollin and I wish you to win not just a contest (if its not too late) but also to win over your illness !
@@erinmckee94 Thank you!! I spend LOTS of time preparing, and when I get there, I take time to deep breathe and drink plenty of water to keep my throat lubricated. If anything feels out of place, I risk having a panic attack, so overpreparing often helps. :)
I also have confidence you will heal of your illnesses if you haven't by now . . . This video being as far in the past as it is. The God I pray to Loves and heals even nowadays. This I hold confidence about. Though, I have known healing to not happen unless He is given credit for it happening. So if the one that desires healing does not ever intend to give God credit, I will in her stead give God credit. Because though I do not know you personally, I feel I know you from how you express yourself, your thoughts and your desires for your life. And I see my own past self within your thought processes. 😌❤️🙏
I can tell you are not a member of the church. You after all have a mask on in an entirely empty room . . . I would love to be in your shoes being allowed to use your voice to bless all the ears that hear it all in a church setting. It is a blessing to be able and asked to continue to sing there and to be paid for it when others are not paid for it . . . It's even bigger of a blessing in comparison to having to sing there for nothing in return. . . . Though, from their perspective it is more of a blessing to not be paid because then they have the blessing of being able to sing without being expectant of anything in return. (Merely my train of passing thoughts, no more no less really...In short, take with a grain of salt) . . . . It is a dream of most women with a classically trained voice who enjoy Phantom of the Opera, to one day sing on stage the songs from Phantom of the Opera. Which reminds me of a song from the other musical that was inspired by the same book: "Phantom the American Musical Sensation" The song is called "Home" Your voice would sound absolutely Perfect singing that song. As one of your biggest and most new and most outspoken of all your fans, please learn this song if you do not yet know it. Hearing it I WELL know will bless the ears of all your fans out here, myself included. May you have as much fun learning it as I had learning it. 😊❤
@@Myself-anonymously Thanks and I and I am a member! I only had a mask on while talking as there were others in the building, COVID cases were very high at that time and I was trying to be respectful, especially of the elderly church members. I unfortunately get sick VERY easily and I'd feel terrible if I gave COVID to somebody there. At this time I'd only remove my mask for singing if others felt comfortable given the surge in cases. I am in a funny place spiritually right now, but this church and the community there are wonderful people who I am blessed to call my friends. Thank you for your kind words and have a great night!

Thank you so much for your time and your thoughtful, kind comment. It means a lot.
@@christinedaae1986 you have a beautiful voice! I’ve listened to some of your other videos and you are amazing. How do you deal with audition nerves?
