I am a proud Wiccan, feminist, and crazed "Phantom of the Opera" phangirl and I don't care who knows it. I am also a vegetarian because one of the most important principles of Wicca is "Harm None" and I believe it is immoral to harm something for pleasure. My bookwormish/history buff-ish nerdiness and unbridled love for the fabled RMS Titanic is unrivaled. I sing a lot of musical theatre and some opera. My favorite opera is Carmen by Georges Bizet, and my favorite musical BESIDES Phantom is The King and I by Rogers an Hammerstein. I also really like Wicked, Les Misérables, Into The Woods, Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma, West Side Story, and The Pirates of Penzance. I also really love the Victorian and Art Nouveau eras and I am a total francophile (lover of the French language and culture). The final installment. This beautiful love song is from Sondheim’s first professional musical, set in Brooklyn in 1929, and is sung originally by the two main characters. Sondheim did not do the music for this show, but he did write the lyrics! In this song, Miss Gypsy Rose Lee takes the stage for the first time and is at first, completely terrified. After a while, though, she begins to settle into it and even enjoy it. My beloved English Budgie, Molière, passed away on this date a year ago. I was absolutely devastated and I’m still not over him. In his honour on the anniversary of his death, I rewrote the lyrics to the Parks and Rec song “Bye Bye Lil Sebastian” to be about Molière. Rest in peace, buddy. You were the best little companion a girl could ask for.

I’ve found your channel thanks to your comment about being violin player (to put it shortly) And here I’m surprised by not just a honestly speaking young lovely lady but also a very brave and mostly important astonishing singer ! If I would heard this alive I would thought you must be a fallen angel indeed ! Thanks for taking opportunity to speak about your personal struggles and giving courage to others. I‘ve personally a different view and approach to (not just a mental) illness and speaking of “valid” (self-value?) it gets a little funny but thats about many things of our handmade world and our inner worlds which are missing contact points with reality more and more (thats my using of opportunity to “speak” - we humans are playing games and too often gets stuck in them playing roles not just outside but also inside ourselves without even realizing it properly) But I agree with what you are saying..I hope my english make sense. So keep it rollin and I wish you to win not just a contest (if its not too late) but also to win over your illness !

That's not how "poor" is pronounced. The song is not "Pour Wandering One."
@@marieshenk1091 They may be MISpronounced the same in your region, but that doesn't mean it's correct. Make any excuse you want but in the end, dictionaries are correct and you are not.
J L N just because YOUR region says it weird doesn’t mean that it’s correct. also don’t you know that vowel sounds sometimes have to be altered when singing? clearly not.
