Unfortunately, most people think Bangkok is only drunks, cheap women, monkeys and lady boys.... this is disrespectful to the rich culture and heritage of Thailand. But this is what most media show. Yes this is a very uncommon topic that should be talked about more. The Hangover absolutely fucked Thailand's reputation and not enough people shame Hollywood for such a devastating blow to the beautiful Thai culture. Western media has continued to shamelessly perpetuate stereotypes about Southeast Asia and especially Thailand to this day. It's sickening.

Siam Square/Walking Street is a great vibe. I've seen some "K-Pop in Public" dancing there. Seems like anyone who knows the choreography are welcome to join in (unless is a special troupe making a video).
You should do a video on each BTS station and the malls that are close to them. And a longer video of just how many Malls there are in Bangkok. It must be in the 100's. But always room for more 😅 Oh the new Porsch cafe soi 38 opens on the 28th of this month. Right on the entrance of the soi, finally made use of the showroom that never opened.
It is so cool that you can walk from the National Stadium BTS to the Phloen Chit BTS, a distance of nearly 3 km, and never have to walk on the street level. All using a combination of the Skywalk and shopping malls. Though it can get confusing finding which level of floor the connections between the malls are. I think you have an old video where you walked this path before.

Yes, I had been walking there in this area before at a few times when I travel there but many lighting and people before 10pm but after 10pm it was dark and quiet over there most of the light and shop were be closed, it were be better if they could extend the time up to 11pm.
I remember the building that used to stand on what is now the Central Mall construction site, with many small or rather tiny clothing stores. Thanks for the update. Love also the vibes of the old Bangkok.
🇹🇭 economy will be even more dependent on tourism and influx of cashed up people, and its obvious the authorities understand this. Thailand has the climate, the friendly people and the infrastructure. So Thailand... Build, build, build..its a safe bet👍
One of my favourite places Siam lots of positive vibes in that area, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about the Apple commercial it did make Thailand look 3rd world and stupid, it did try to be like Hangover 2 but did a bad job at it. Where Hangover 2 promoted Thailand in a more positive funny manner, I am sure tourism in Thailand went up after the release of the film, I am sure more people went the, The Lebua at State Tower or to the Ritz Carlton in Krabi and the other destination around Thailand. that in the film. Thailand is an amazing place with a great culture and fabulous loving people, it is stunning how it has developed over the years and how modern it is now and still pushing for better... it is definitely far more modern and developed than my home country of England. In my opinion Thailand is the best country in the world and deserves more respect, especially from some of you Western RUclipsrs where would many of you bloggers be without amazing Thailand ???
