I’m trying to discern the value of your opinion. Is your grasp of how Beethoven is to be played greater than Harliono’s? Would he benefit from your advice? Could explain to him what you mean in a way that would enlighten him? Is your authority greater than it seems-or is it indeed less than you wish it to appear? Are you simply an unserious person prone to inconsequential expression?
@@pierrot6598 Well, though every artist can and should have their own interpretation, I also think that his Tempest was much too light (like many of Mozarts piano pieces). Tempest is both beautiful but should have the weight of Beethoven, especially the 1st movement. The 2nd movement is dark and beautiful and the 3rd lighter but with a sort of beautiful thunder. My favorite artists evoke that. Everyone has their own opinions of course!
World-renowned virtuoso pianist, a very young well-accomplished artist, George Harliono. What a fascinating rendition by a musical genius!
The Glinka is better than the Beethoven in this programme.
Oh, i am flying, with joy, over the rainbow now!!! 🙏
He has the best Petrouchka I've heard in years
Not a reflection on your performance which is exemplary as always!
Thanks for this performance but in all honesty I find the music a bit of a “curates egg”
imperfection is the primary motivation for progress and excellence.
plays everything in the tone for Mozart...
This is Beethoven; should not be played as Mozart.
