About F1 2017:
“F1 2017” is a highly technical racing video game and the ninth instalment in the Formula One video games franchise developed and published by Codemasters. It was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on 25 August 2017.
F1 2017 features the following teams and drivers: Scuderia Ferrari - Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen; Sahara Force India F1 Team - Sergio Perez, Esteban Ocon; Haas F1 Team - Romain Grosjean, Kevin Magnussen; McLaren Honda Formula 1 Team - Stoffel Vandoorne, Fernando Alonso; Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport - Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas; Red Bull Racing - Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen; Renault Sport Formula One Team - Nico Hulkenberg, Jolyon Palmer; Sauber F1 Team - Marcus Ericsson, Pascal Wehrlein; Scuderia Toro Rosso - Daniil Kvyat, Carlos Sainz Jr.; Williams Martini Racing - Lance Stroll, Felipe Massa. As an addition to the 2017 game, there are many classic F1 cars at the players disposal. Classic cars featured are the 1988 McLaren MP4/4, 1991 McLaren MP4/6, 1992 Williams FW14B, 1995 Ferrari 412 T2, 1996 Williams FW18, 1998 McLaren MP4-13, 2002 Ferrari F2002, 2004 Ferrari F2004, 2006 Renault R26, 2007 Ferrari F2007, 2008 McLaren MP4 -23 and the 2010 Red Bull Racing RB6.
F1 2017 contains 20 official circuits from Iconic locations such as Monaco, Azerbaijan, USA, UK, Australia, Dubai and Austria, such as the Albert Park Street Circuit, Red Bull Ring, Baku City Circuit, Silverstone, Suzuka, Circuit of the Americas, Hungaroring and Monaco Street Circuit.
About MotoGP 2018:
“MotoGP 18” was released on Q3 2018. It was developed by Milestone and published by Milestone for Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Celebrating passion, excitement and all the adrenaline of the MotoGP championship, MotoG 18 will give players the opportunity to take part in the best motorcycle racing show on Earth, featuring all the official content from 2018 MotoGP season and exclusive improved features which will set a completely new level of realism and immersion.

The sense of speed and the tension this game delivers is unbeatable by modern Codemasters games.
Advices:
Put more downforce when raining.
Skip till the end when you are in the safe zone.
I remember the music you put in when you crossed the line for the finish you put that when Wherlin won at Abu Dhabi and got Manor their first ever win. Oh the memory's with the channel!
Ben, the rules in 2006 were that when the clock went to 0:00 you couldn't finish your lap, it ISN'T the game being broken!!!
yes you are right.
Edit: The rule was changed during the 2006 season. Originally as the PS2 and PS3 games both portray, you were not able to finish your lap time if the clock ran to zero. However, I believe you were able to finish the lap in Q3. This got changed at the French GP (Round 10) where Q3 became 15 mins like the other 2 sessions and the current lap time you were on could be finished after the chequered flag was out for all sessions. However, this will not help Ben as the game simulates the first half of the season.
I think you could finish your lap only in Q3? But in Q1 and Q2 once the clock went down, you couldn't finish your lap.
@@Streetw1s3r like Chris said above the season started that way, then the teams and drivers complained (like Ben is lol) about it, so they changed it so you could do the same in Q1 and Q2 as Q3, finish your current lap as long as you started it before the clock ran to zero( chequered flag). Cheers.

That was an epic drive Ben, well done champ! As someone who was watching F1 back in that era even I can tell you that it is nearly impossible to differentiate the compounds of tyres. In 2007 they rectified that though by putting a white stripe on the Softer Compound, and that's when compound identification came into it's own!

Advices: Use hard tyres for a non-stop race. Change It on the setup diring qualifying (you can do it after setting your lap)

F1 2006 episodes are the best. I think next season you can make a realistic push for the championship! Get wins/very good results at Bahrain, Monaco, France, Europe, Hungary, China, Turkey, Brazil and score points at tracks like Malaysia, Spain, Britain, Germany, Europe, Italy and improve your consistency/get results using strategy!

Very late response, but I wanted to correct you; soft and hard compound tyres existed long before 2007, tyre rule back then was that drivers could use only one tyre compound for qualifying and race.

The game isn't stupid, in the early part of the real 2006 season Q1 and Q2 the sessions ended at 0:00 regardless of whether you were on a flying lap. only Q3 could you finish the lap

I'm surprised you didn't even get disqualified for not pitting. Because in real life in the 2010s, if it is a dry race, every driver must take at least one pit stop and use the harder or softer tyres, which I think they get disqualified if they don't do so.
"Because this game is so stupid"... erm, no, because in 2006 you weren't allowed to finish your lap after the chequered flag in Q1 and Q2. It's accurate (it was changed halfway through the '06 season).
