Their father is a.hole but their mother is equally if not more an a.hole, did u see how their mother treated them? At least their dad keep trying to save them once in a while
Oh, so could I. I was both horrified and deeply intrigued when she told him to get into the bathroom. They could've been so formidable as a "woman-behind-the-guy" twisted power couple.
I also noticed that, I think the writers shaped their characters around some of the improv moments, I think this is where Roman's incest jokes were born
Roman to Con: "Are you kidding about the presidential thing? Do you think that's like a natural progression from never done nothing never, to the most important job in the world? Couldn't you maybe get a little experience at like a CVS?" -☠️💀☠️💀
I think he's displayed some character growth. Yes, he's still an entitled pos. However, in S3E3 He felt guilt towards being a double agent and betraying his siblings. S1/2- He didn't seem to care when he hurt them. Especially when he gave Logan all the details on Ken's baby, "Vaulter." Logan forced Kendall to go dismantle and shutter it. S4 E3, When Logan told him to do HIS dirty work and fire Gerri at Connor's wedding. He knew it wasn't right and didn't want to. Of course, he still obeyed daddy, BUT, he left him that voicemail and stood up to him. S4E4, When Marsha publicly shamed, humiliated, and unceremoniously, threw Kerry out of the townhouse. Roman actually felt bad for Kerry, helped her gather her things, exchanged numbers with her. He may have an ulterior motive here, like to ascertain whether or not his father heard his vm. Or he could've simply felt empathy for her, as she was the only person visibly grieving Logan, when he could not. And he did go through his father's things, he asked Kendall about Logan playing Sodoku.
The scary thing is that Roman could never be top dog because he is actually too human and sensitive (underneath the warped hard shell he's constructed to protect himself).
That’s not a bad thing. That’s like being a bad Real Housewife. It means you’re too normal, sane, can communicate effectively, and aren’t a raging narcissist. And also that you don’t want to fuck up your kids put sticking them in front of camera. Could be a dig, but really it’s the highest of compliments.
even roman has been abused the most by logan out of his four kids, he loves him the most. and even tho connor has been neglected the most by logan, he is the most steady in his love for his dad and the least likely to break off contact with him. i really hope they make a prequel about the family.
i think the last episode really showed that connor was the only one who was in their dad’s inner circle. those three were too busy battling it off on who will be ceo that they didn’t really get to witness their dad being a normal person, he was always this incredible genius work beast that always knows the next move. kendall and roman were shocked to even hear logan laugh. while with connor he was literally at the table making jokes with the big guys and always appears to be most comfortable wherever he is at, he’s the only one who knows who he really is and i think that’s because he was raised in such a lonely way
I think the show gave a perfect amount of information about their early lives. I think a prequel might reveal too much. Maybe ruin a little of the mystique.
@@zjktz7782 yep. and connor probably had more chance to be with his daddy and see him more of who he really is as he was the first kid that came before he was a conglomerate.

He was good at pitching and had good people instincts but he was clueless as far as actual management is concerned. Him washing his hands after the launch explosion I’ll never get over
i actually cried laughing
I think it symbolises that expression “he washed his hands of the situation”…. Like he is abandoning any responsibility for what just happened 😂
nearly the same response when logan dies. him brushing his teeth in front of the mirror shot
Exactly. If I act normal, I could pretend that never happened.
Most unforgettable! 😂😂
Show is a case study in the consequences of traumatic, psychologically abusive parenting. Utterly fascinating.

You commented damn near exactly the same thing on a video analyzing Roman Roy
Scared the shit out of me to find it.
"oh look at you, you work for a man....with glasses" gets me everytime

I don't think my psyche could handle watching too much Roman and Gerri lmao

the fact that shiv stared into the camera before saying that lmao

Love Roman when Logan glares at him after the dick pic accident trying to be as small as possible

I feel like he was worse in seasons 3 and 4 honestly
@@anatoldenevers237I think in a business aspect he matured but he’s still a horrible spoiled rich kid

earlier Roman Roy, looks like Tobey Maguire's Spider-man gone rougue
My thoughts
So basically Spider Man 3's Tobey?
If it weren’t for his peccadilloes and self-loathing, he’s the killer Logan always wanted
We see it as a persona for everyone to view it as to avoid being consider weak...until the funeral/ correlation

That’s the best
Needed all of these Romanisms right now!! Thank you!!
It's great that Roman refers to the office as a cage in the first episode when later he tells the story of being in a cage when he was kid.
The scary thing is that Roman could never be top dog because he is actually too human and sensitive (underneath the warped hard shell he's constructed to protect himself).
He proved he could be top dog in the election night episode - Roman did exactly what Logan would have done.
