  • Looking after your gear is the secret to success. Downtime is costly - whether you’re working on a home project, or completing a job on-site. The majority of troubleshooting and servicing we complete for our painting fam is a result of missing important steps in cleaning and flushing their airless sprayers.
We’ve teamed up with ‪@paintingbyjosh‬ to show you how to clean and flush your new Graco Ultra QuickShot! This method is assuming you’re on-site, and needing to clean up with buckets of water to get the job done. The more thoroughly you can flush and keep your unit clean, we promise that the QuickShot will look after you for years to come. Cleaning the Ultra QuickShot properly is the secret to success for keeping the pump operational, reduce blocking in tips when spraying, and protect the hand-piece and gun needle from scoring or clogging from debris or paint skin.
We’ll be releasing in-depth troubleshooting, maintenance and servicing guides for the Graco Ultra QuickShot over the coming months. This sprayer is officially launching in Australia mid-to-late June, and we’re pumped to get behind it!
WATCH UNTIL THE END for some good stuff, if you’re keen to grab a QuickShot for yourself!
Until then, thanks for watching and all the love and support you guys show GO x ‪@paintingbyjosh‬ 🫶🏼

And now to answer some FAQ's for all you deep-researchers out there, we hope this helps!
    1. How many litres to a charge? 4L to a charge with the included 18V 2.0AH batteries. If you choose to run the 18/54V FlexVolt batteries, this is yet to be tested.
    2. What spray tips are included? The FFLP514 and FFLP210 are standard with the QuickShot - one for wider substrates (walls, ceilings), and the FFLP210 for narrower substrates (window frames, skirting boards, cornice).
    3. What is the size of the cup? The Pour-N-Go cup is a 950mL capacity, and is easily refillable.
    4. How is this different to the Graco Ultra & Ultra Max Handheld sprayers? This is the next model up in the range - it features a pump unique to the QuickShot, and fixed 1.8M whip hose and handpiece. The cup system is gravity fed, versus vaccum seal; which means it is less common for pressure inconsistencies when spraying.
    5. What is the warranty? The warranty is 12 months on the QuickShot and is covered by Graco authorised service and repair agents. GO Industrial covers repairs and warranty nationally in Australia; so hit us up if you have any issues!
    6. What is the price? $2,145 inc GST is the RRP provided by Graco Australia. As we mentioned, if you stay to the end of the video... something cool might happen!
    7. What is the QuickShot suitable for? If you have smaller projects where convenience is paramount, the QuickShot is for you. It'll handle a range of water-based, oil-based and solvent-based paints. It'll spray materials as thin as lacquers, stains and varnishes, right up to the thickest material being an exterior acrylic. If you're spraying woodwork in a house, 1-2 bedrooms for an insurance repaint, painting furniture or need to hit a section of timber fencing, this is the most convenient unit for you.
    8. How good is the finish? Spoiler: so good. With the electronically actuated trigger, this is hardly any spitting. And with the 1.8M hose and gravity-fed cup, paired the FFLP range of tips, pulsation is extremely low, and the finish quality is fantastic. Will it rival a HVLP in terms of overall finish quality? It is still a true airless piston pump, so won't be beating a HVLP for very fine finishing for kitchens and super high-end cabinetry.
    9. When does it come out in Australia? We have been advised by Graco Australia that a formal launch date of late June, 2023 is likely. If you pre-order through GO Industrial, you'll be sure to be kept in the loop!

I’m using my quick shot for the first time, it’s a little more intensive to clean than my graco tc pro

does storing it with the lid on, and not allowing the moisture to evaporate, create mold and mildew over time? I would think it would.

I wish they’d come up with an attachment that would allow you to flush it through using a hose or tap.

It is easier to clean than the ultra max?

We definitely think so - makes it much easier with the gravity fed cup to flush water through and deep clean!

How do you keep the gun and the unit clean? Any tips and tricks to prevent it getting caked In paint after every use.

Unfortunately there's just instances where you can't avoid it. Dedicating cleaning time once a week to properly get into it is pretty important. Sometimes it just takes routine care and a bit of elbow grease to keep the gear in good condition!

If i need to top up the little hopper and it hasn't run out of paint can i just top it up and carry on spraying or does it need to be primed first ? Newbie to spraying and a bit unsure . Great bit of kit though , i really like using it.

    • @GOIndustrial

You can carry on spraying as long as the strainer/filter where the pump inlet sits is covered with enough product! If any air sucks in, you may need to prime again :)

Recently I used the quickshot for the first time. Turns out it’s easy to know when it starts getting low on paint. It’s easy to use so I’d pour in more paint and keep going. But if it loses prime it’s easy to get back 👍🏻

Thanks for Sharing 😊, only concern is battery life and cost. Time saved should more than pay for the battery I guess!?

It’s a machine for a small job. If expecting 100L consumption every day, it worth to get a Graco 395 or 695

Anyone know how long those batteries last?

    • @davidzh1545
      @davidzh1545 9 месяцев назад

4 lite a gallon per battery as described in the manual.

DeWalt batteries are great. Get the 6 or 8 amp hour battery and it should last you a long time. and keep a charger and a fully charged battery on hand ready to go. Place depleted battery on charger when you swap battery, and you'll always have a charged battery ready to go.
