- Before the Snickers commercials, before Golden Girls, before the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Betty White was in a show that she co-produced called Life With Elizabeth in the 1950's. The show was about the adventures of a pair of newlyweds. It was aired live at the very dawn of the TV era and she talks about all that in this interview from 1966.

42 year old betty white. So beautiful, RIP MS. BETTY 💟🙏🏾
Crazy to think she was only 5 years younger than JFK and actually quite a bit older than MLK
She spoke so eloquently here, and to think she was already in her 40s
She was so beautiful! An incredible woman she was! RIP queen 💕
Bye Betty. You will be missed. Thanks for all the laughs.
She was and still so beautiful 😍😍
An incredible lady ! Last of the Golden Girls !!

She has always been a pretty lady throughout her life.

RIP Betty. American Legend
My Auntie Gloria had the opportunity to work w/ Betty White on one of her early 1958 program installments performing in one of the show's skits as an essential character, so every once in a while I'll view that segment to really appreciate the casting for that particular broadcast and allow myself a bit of a satisfactory pinch as a result of knowing that what I witnessed was the real deal.
How interesting that your aunt is Gloria Talbott! I loved her in "All That Heaven Allows!"
She was such a good soul.
Betty says she has been married for nearly 3 years, and wishes them a happy Easter, which means this interview took place in 1966 since she married Allen Ludden in June of 1963.
@JH1234 Betty met Allen on Password in 1961, but they married in 1963. :)
Yeah, the title has the wrong year but the description has the right gave the right year
Rest in Pease Betty. You were amazing. 12/31/2021
RIP BETTY WE STILL LOVE YOU
SAD, but we will all join her sooner or later!
Its still absolutely wild that most of the people who saw this interview when it came out are likely not around anymore. But Betty is still here
RIP
@@zzayuh a few more weeks and she would have celebrated her 100th birthday. Rest in peace betty
This didn't age well... lol She probably saw what was coming in 2022 and decided she needed to get out.

We miss you Betty!
Please tell me who the host and panelists are. I only recognize Elwy Jost but they all look familiar.
You should ask Reddit, people on RUclips are idiots including me lol
Host Bill Walker and panelists (L to R) Allan Manings, Maggie Morris, Elwy Yost and a guest whose identity has yet to be determined (four outta five ain't too bad).
She's 42 here. Not really her early days on TV
Wait why did Betty say “It’ll be three years in June” when Betty & Allen only got married in 1963. It says this was in 1964?
It says 1964 but it should actually be 1966.
She was married in 1963 and she says there have been married for 3 years. How can the show be from 1964?
She is 42 there
Betty had black hair?
Yes. Starting in the early 1970's she went blonde and then it eventually went all white like it is now.
@@MateusGowen ok so the color matches the name now..lol
@@keonta81 Ironically, yes. 😂
LoL I had Black hair. It's snow white now.
Damn she was even old back then lmao
She always looked so young.
