For the SD gate marks I use a sonic cutter to cut a little farther from the parts then trim with a regular knife/glass file. It leaves no mark about half the time but I'm still improving.
@@smallmodelcollector I got ZO-401 from hlj, after doing some youtube research. It's ~250 sans shipping if you pay in yen. Still expensive but it'll save me a lot of time with the SD kits and mobility joint figures.

You might already know this but the key with hlj and similar vendors is to not use theirs or paypal's currency conversion.
