  • With the final episode of Mr. Robot airing, I wanted to deconstruct what I think is one of the greatest episodes of television ever put to air. This episode beautifully combines acting, writing, and cinematography to deliver an incredible experience. I hope you enjoy this video and the final season of the show. Leave a like and comment your thoughts.
    It took 11 attempts of re-editing this video so that there would be no copyright claims. Typically these aren't a big issue but this time the video would have been blocked in all countries. I wanted to get the video out with as close to the same original vision I had. So hopefully the blur isn't too distracting and actually keeps my video up.
    This video falls under fair use, I do not own any of the content in this video. But cmon USA Network you know you want some free publicity for your show!

She is so intelligent! and Eliot underestimates her too much. You can see how Krista is so similar to Eliot. Krista decode physical people, Elior decode intangible data, same action, different methods. Also she killed Vera, when Vera first showed up, i knew he was gonna die, but who was gonna kill him? Krista? yeah sure.

    What was amazing was how inept Vera felt to the story initially. Then this episode began and at first I said to myself, I don't want to see this interaction, I want to see what happens with White Rose. Then suddenly my eyes were glued to the screen and Vera very intelligently began deconstructing Elliott and I don't think I have ever been so entrenched into a TV experience as this. I have no one to talk to about Mr Robot, because no one watches this show around me. The day after I watched that episode, I was telling people that I am pretty sure I just witnessed the absolute best episode of any show around. Great deconstruction. • @jguffey95
      @jguffey95 4 года назад +40

      It's both. I'm a web engineer, here's somethings that might help for those who are curious:
      What is a Proxy? - when a direct route to the thing you want isn't available, but another route is, we call that a proxy. If you want a delicious McDonald's hamburger, but the road you usually take is closed, you can access the McDonald's via a detour, or proxy route. Often when we're building software, we might not be able to reach, or access the data we need, but we know that we do have access to a server that does have access, so we route the traffic through *that* other server to get what we need.
      Authentication Required (401) - You don't have access to the server you're connected to.
      Proxy Authentication Required (407) - Putting that all together. You have access to the server you're connected to, but *that* server lacks the proper credentials to the next server. Let's say you find your way on that detour road to McDonald's, but once there, you realize that road is closed too! Bummer, no hamburger for you - but at least now you understand error code 407!

    Scenes that have kept me glued to the screen in TV History, in no particular order
    1. Krista breaking down Elliot
    2. When Christopher finds out about Adrianna right till the moment she’s whacked (long term parking) - Sopranos
    3. GOT - Jon Snow’s first battle with walkers in the North.
    4.Jimmy and Chuck McGill court case in Better Call Saul
    5. Brother Mouzane meeting Omar, the wire.
    6.Leftovers - When Matt Meets God

    • @kiliaeyan
      @kiliaeyan 4 года назад +31

      @@KaneA87 Idk man. I think it's actually refreshing to have a show use a plot(twist) that is so 'down to earth'. In the end Mr. Robot was about mentall illness, abuse and identity: ones place in the world. The show is about so much more than it lets on, it's easy to be fooled by the flashy Fsociety action plots. This is escapism to the fullest. They delivered that quite uniquely

    • @kiliaeyan
      @kiliaeyan 4 года назад +4

      @@KaneA87 I feel you! I'm really curious as to what the 2nd viewing (in a year or so) will bring in terms of clues for the ending. At first I was a little sceptic by the abuse reveal, because it kind of felt like Esmail was retconning some established plot points. But after thinking about it and after the final episode, it felt like he was planning to do this all along (still have to do some research). It all makes sense this way, the 'main' plotline (fsociety) actually being some kind of a metaphor. I certainly don't think it was all a dream, it was a hell of a journey either way. For the 'real' Eliot and all characters involved.
      I kind of agree with you saying we didn't actually see the 'real' Eliot struggle with his issues. In a way that's true. I didn't really mind that, because for me the story was about trying to figure out who you are and accepting this. This is something everyone struggles with, especially those who have suffered abuse. Any abuse. This story has been less about the specific stuff Elliot went through, because, really, everyone processes these issues differently. So to me it showed how everyone (abused or no) eventually has to come to terms with who they are. This while similtaniously how fantastically bad our society is 'adapted' to help people with that.
      One thing's for sure: DAMN good tv indeed.

    • @tdof7217
      @tdof7217 4 года назад +9

      @@KaneA87 The show did what it intended. If you look back we've been hinted at this from the beginning. Elliot's trauma resulted in him having Dissociative Identity Disorder, which was portrayed the best I've ever seen or read, it's not really a fantasy. I think this ending doesn't sink well with the people that wanted the show to end up in a certain place , but I'm glad it didn't and made it something special,even more meaningful than anything else we could have hoped for.
