Here is how I know how much of a impact Clark has had. My 45 year old brother texting every night they play with stats of what she did. That man has never watch a WNBA game in his life until this season and does not miss a game now. She brought so many new eye balls to the game which had brought a ton of shine to all the players. It's like what Tiger did and took some time for everyone to realize. You protect the golden goose. Tiger made a lot of people rich and the game is better for it. Same will hold true with Catlin

CC is a prodigy. As a young girl, she recognized Maya Moore's game. For those who do not know check out Maya's resume and RUclips clips. Her parents drove 3.5 hours so she could see her play. CC was destined for what's happening. It should not come as no surprise. Think about it. The brighter the lights, the larger the crowds, she performs like Mozart, and she is the one bringing in the crowds plus national/international audiences and doesn't disappoint with her play and answers the bell for every game. Listen to her talk. People were talking like she was going to be a bust. Like she wasn't going to be able to hang. The haters haven't seen anything yet. My worry is that someone will injure CC on purpose. If that happens, the league will surely starve. Word to wise...let that girl do her thing and appreciate what you are seeing.

It’s crazy how two seasons in college and a player taunts another player causes a ride like no other. They lose to Creighton, then lose to UCONN by 20 then lose to LSU with the face wave by AR and CC becomes the face of women’s basketball. Then they barely beat a solid UCONN team Paige plays a decent game and will be the NEXT big face of the league along with JuJu. CC is a great player that just needed something to happen to push her forward and be talked about. The scoring record helped but was broken earlier by Plum. Sabrina was just in a 3pt shoot out with Curry. CC became popular because an arrogant black girl got in her face and taunted her causing the people to rally around her and gain attention. If AR never did what she did CC would still be a great player still be the 1 pick but the popularity of the game would not have changed. That game vs LSU and the run to the F4 is what made CC get the attention!

My guess… there have been 20+ seasons of the WNBA- to make a general statement, No One Cared, or Very Few Cared.
There are middle-aged women who got little or no recognition for what they did, and the pay to match. Little or none.
Now, all of a sudden, this young woman comes into the league and is setting records (both on the court and in attendance), and is drawing the eyeballs and the money that they NEVER got.
They’re upset that she’s standing on their shoulders.
I can see the point, but eventually, the Old School has to encourage this so that the next generation raises even higher- and everyone gets more money and respect. 🤷‍♂️

SAS; That's when Caitlin Clark got relevant when Angel Reese and LSU won the 2023 women's championship game and she showed CC what time👋 it was🏐. The media made AR the bad and CC the good in that game loss. Then Iowa tried to win again and failed against SC coach Dawn Staley team🏆. And the media felt sorry again she lost her 2 attempts so you and other hyped her game up for her to be the 2024 rookie Wnba star🤔. Keep in mind, she does nothing special that Sabrina Ionescu and Kelsey Plum have been doing for years in the league already. Where were their media hype. It took that LSU rivalry for CC to be noticed. W/o Angel Reese challenging her in 2023, they both would be like the previous years rookies.🤔
