Hey I tried this and started crocheting sleeves from the shoulder but it was getting wide and out of my control because I wanted it to be straight sleeve
You could try decreasing every so often as you are going down the sleeve to try and keep it straight. Or I would recommend attempting with a stretchier yarn and when u begin really have it stretched out around ur shoulder tightly. The issue is that everyone’s upper arm is gonna be bigger than their lower arm and wrist so if you start up there it’s always going to flare out a tad. You could also try starting at your wrist.
