I considered all brands with dealers within an hour from me. Even the new Hyundai HX48 as my previous mini was a Hyundai R35. The Volvo to me was the clear winner. From fit and finish to performance in my opinion it is the best. I demo'd every one first and highly recommend that to anyone as everyone is different. Good luck with your search. If you do end up with either the 50 or 58 from Volvo I can't imagine you being disappointed.
@@outdoorcreations9611 I did try the 305 Cat. I liked it almost as well as the Volvo. The Volvo was significantly less money and I still liked it better overall.

Did you consider any other brands? Ive been eyeing either this 50 or the 58. The controls are as you said so smooth on these machines

Did you try any of the cat next gen excavators? Appreciate the review on this machine, its been so difficult to find any info on these volvo minis.
