I've lived in Montgomery for 64 years and I wish that we had a building downtown that held all the pictures and some videos of all the actors and actresses and singers and so forth that is from Alabama. We have so much talent from the state that we should have a building that is just about them. For they have started out in the state and they have moved on and moved up and has become something great. I think that would be an interesting building to have downtown. We have great singers like Nat King Cole Hank Williams Jr and others and great actresses and actors and so on.

When I was moving to the river region, every local who loved me begged me not to move to Montgomery. Okay okay to visit for a couple of hours, then you have to leave before the sun goes down.
Nice video but you have forgotten to show the house of Dr. King that was bombed and the house that Nat king Cole was born in. Also, the birth house of Melvin Franklin from The Temptations 💕💕💕 I love my city!!!

The real estate value of homes, in Montgomery, Alabama have increased tremendously, after Covid 19. The only people who would be aware of this fact, are the homeowners & property owners. People who don't own property in Montgomery, Alabama are quick to highlight the negatives. Your video shows very positive aspects of the City of Montgomery......& there are many more : The Biscuit Stadium , Equal Justice Legacy Museum & the soon to be Whitewater Rafting Waterpark. Let's not forget that the Airforce Air War College is located on Maxwell Airforce Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Don't be fooled! Blighted buildings in Montgomery, Alabama are being torn down, or repurchased. The old Grove Court Apartment Building on South Court Street has been purchased and is currently being repurposed ( by the same company that owns Ravellos Fine Dining restaurant downtown Montgomery). The old hotel, located on the Southern Boulevard, called The Governor's House Hotel, has been purchased by the City of Montgomery and is currently being given a face-lift. The old Montgomery Mall, now serves as a multiplex that houses a Magnet School called LAMP ( which is the #1 Academically ranked school in the State of Alabama), IMPACT, a division of the city's fire department and lastly, a division of the Montgomery Police Department is housed in the old Montgomery Mall. Montgomery, Alabama is moving forward with $1.7 Billion in Capital improvements, in year 2022, per the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce recent announcement on last week. #GoMontgomery,Al !!!
And I can tell you never been to Montgomery because the Garret Coliseum has been closed for at least ten years nothing goes on other than the fair lmao..

Besides the history, this is one of the worst places in Alabama to me. Living down there I was woken up from gunshots every night. Witnessed 2 drive bys. Grandma almost robbed. This plane kinda sucks
I word of advice, which by the way, I base my opinion on a person by their actions and not where they are from or their ethnicity. There are decent, considerate and people of good moral character all over the world. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I lived next to Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they exceeded the occupancy limits, that is the number if people allowed to live in the apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they liked having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. They were asked not to disturb other tenements but they still kept doing it. When they used the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and sometimes even days, and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once an animal did poo near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attracted flies in my home. It was a mess. Once they finally moved, everything was better. And the fly problem in my home went away. I am saddened and disturbed that people like this are moving in to Germany and causing a decline in society and the German way of life.
