    Asking a real estate agent whether you should buy a home right now is like to asking an alcoholic whether they think you should have a drink lol. Homes in my neighborhood that cost around $450k in sales in 2019 are now going for $800 to $950k. Every seller in my neighborhood is currently making a $350k profit. Simply unreal. In all honesty, deflation is what we require. The only other option is for many people to go bankrupt, which would also be bad for the economy. That is the only way to return to normal.

    • @philipr1759
      @philipr1759 Год назад +3

      Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; its best to offset some of your real estate investments and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets

      Personally, I can connect to that. When I began working with "Julie Anne Hoover," a fiduciary financial counsellor, my advantages were certain. In these circumstances, I would always advise getting professional help so they can steer you through choppy markets and just give you indicators and strategies for knowing when to enter and exit the market.

    I’m from Texas have lived in Houston the last 17 years… trust me y’all I love Texas but now too many people are moving here and it’s really hot during the summer.. like unliveable! We’re selling our home and ol going somewhere where it’s not 98 degrees at 9pm…and as for Seattle in rains waaaaAy too much there and u also have a constant threat of earthquakes.. yes it’s beautiful but I’m not too sure.. NC Raleigh sounds good, and Connecticut, but my money would probably be on Vermont if I was on the north east coast…

    • @katiecurtis9730
      @katiecurtis9730 Год назад +5

      Big island resident. Never regretted a moment of relocation. Been out here 5 years. Not much to "do" like a big city, but plenty of arts culture, nature, rain, beauty and frankly it's rural living if that's what you seek. We don't really see the expensive part because we don't have hvac (no need), grocery's are the same because we always bought health food store stuff, and gas equals out because I don't sit in traffic... So cheaper than colorado living.
      But there AR bugs and I have to clean more and you can't have excessive stuff. It will go bad or rust (clothing, tools, food, machines).

    Lived in CT my entire life, we refer to Bridgeport as the armpit of Connecticut. The pictures, video's shown are cherry picked places, most of Bridgeport does not look like that. Bridgeport has a crime rate that is higher than 79% of the state's cities and towns of all sizes. If you're some kind of business venture perhaps it could be attractive, but wouldn't recommend moving there especially if you have kids, it's a slummy town - been there a million times in my life for one reason or another, and each time always made sure I was out by dark - not kidding.
