    In this series, Lives of the Sahaba, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions, some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him [S].
    While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, this series will provide a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet [s]), including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).

      ketty cat,this is one of my favorite too. His story is amazing to me. The hardest part for me would be to reject my mother.

    Was it not Rabai ibn amir and not nu'man ibn muqarrin that had that famous conversation with rustom? Allahu A'lam.

      I heard from another source, 3 sahabah were sent to talk to rustum in 3 days of negotiation. Wallahu'alam

    I thought Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas (RA) went to China to invite the Emperor to Islam. Even if it's not true Sh. Yasir Qadhi should have mentioned it as a side note. His entry in Wikipedia mentions it.
