When tribute started on acai's stream I thought it was over, but little did i know that was only the beginning and that the worst really was yet to come
my favourite part of this mashup is how it sounds like the stories of three people's separate encounters with the mysterious House in the Middle of the Street
I just found this album a few days ago and I've listened to this particular song like 20 times on repeat it's actually perfect. Like the way the house is referenced but never really described and how everyone seems to know what it is and the fact that it's dangerous in some unexplained way makes it feel like it's beyond comprehension. The way you mixed everything is incredible, Can't Feel My Face really gives a completely different one to the vocals of Down Under. Also I like the vocals more pitched down with that accent than how they are originally idk Honest to god sad I don't know of any artists that make music like this because I am like obsessed with this song rn
So, back in the roo isles. My workplace chemist warehouse used the fuck out of our house for their advertisements. Id thought I'd never be able to hear that song again without having Vietnam flashbacks but here we are. Good stuff.

There shined a shiny
*HOUSE*
in the middle
*OF OUR STREET*
“The peculiar thing is our house didn’t look anything like this house”
"but i love it! The worst is yet to come"
my favourite part of this mashup is how it sounds like the stories of three people's separate encounters with the mysterious House in the Middle of the Street
House of Leaves theme song
it’s the echo and the absolutely impeccable pitch correction I swear
The oldest house
Myhouse.wad reference
Big *Hotel California* vibes. Not in the music itself, but in the story it's telling.
the tonal shift at "there shone a shiny HOUSE" kills me
intentional or not this is probably the best tribute to house of leaves ive ever seen or heard
Crazy that this is actually the plot of House of Leaves
Seeing people comparing this song to the novel House of Leaves actually made me have an epiphany, dude. It all makes so much sense now.
I can’t believe all of the songs on this album are all under three minutes long, they feel much longer than that (in a good way)
by quarter of an inch or so, yeah
@@mainstreetmafia6605, No, half an inch. I just remeasured it, it was a quarter of an inch longer than what you got
This isn't even a mashup, it's just an audio YTP and I absolutely love it.
The audio equivalent of writing 'house' in blue. Brilliant!
im glad i get this reference now, because its perfect
this song is 1/4 inch longer than the first time I listened to it
Also Co-written by some guy named.. Zampano..
Huh.
Is that a phuqin' _house_ of leaves reference?!

This goes way harder than it should. Props to you
My favourite from the mix, you mustve been having some vegamite when you thought of this
"Be you angels?"
"Nay, we are butt house!"
in the middle!
of our street!
This has the same cursed vibe as the soundtrack to MyHouse. Just that unnerving feeling.

Three songs I've never thought will mash up so well!
Hearing this activated my fight or flight. I thought the houses would start repeating again
It's such, SUCH an unbelievable banger, I must've listened to this at least 20 times by now
i love how each of these are seperate videos now!
I need an extended version of this, it's so good
I still need an extended version! 😫
Awesome, one of my favorite parts of the Tangents mix
That Tenatious D interlude was badass
My favorite song on the album by far.
My mind is thinking like I'm at a roller rink while listening to this.⛸️🎶
I need more of this amazing perfection!😄
the Tribute tangent was genius lmfao

This is the only time I've laughed at afucking gnome
I was a Freshman in College when that Tenacious D album came out. My brain likes to think that wasn't that long ago... but... oof...
Our House of Balloons

Ahhh
I love the mash up but I feel like the Tenacious D bit at the mid point breaks up the songs flow too much.
