Romans 14 : 5 one person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. Verse 6 The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.

@@saxmanjpr5092 ah yes! I had one situation earlier this year when the Lord instructed me to accept the invitation of someone who was going to church on Sunday. As it would turn out that person was given a message in 'tongues' and i was to translate. The first part of the translation was well accepted - it was about malice, fornication, and hypocrisy in their church. The second part not so much - It was about them worshipping on Sunday when the sabbath has not been done away with. It included bible verses word for word! They rejected me and the message. You know even while I gave the interpretation my eye was closed. In the first part the Lord showed me their spirits and how they accepted the message. In the second with my eyes close I saw how their spirits turned to anger. I stood there with my eyes closed and saw the movements of everyone in the room and how their spirits truly felt. They don't want truth, they want comfort to keep doing what they want to do which is why they stretch every bible verse to try to justify their sins but Jesus will say 'In vane you worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men,' and 'these people worship me with their mouth but their heart is far from me.' Not your typical SDA account though I'm sure
@@saxmanjpr5092 there are more prophecies than tongues and i personally don't speak tongues as it is often misunderstood and misused. Tongues as is traditionally presented is a pagan practice where pagan priests used it to be possessed by a spirit. Tongues at pentecost was mainly speaking another language as if it was your own. I was in the same position or even worse, backslided very very in the pit bottom. God brought me back step by step. I couldn't do anything other than come to Jesus just as I was, having decided to repent. Jesus slowly guided me as I continue to surrender to Him just as I was and still doing so. Decision to repent is important and that's the starting point. By that I mean leaving the old life, fully surrender in repentance. Jesus will do miraculously to bring us back to His fold. Sunday worship never existed in bible times.nobody worship on Sunday therefore there's no explanation in the bible to defend why anyone worshipping on the Sunday is plain and simple disobedience to God.

First day worship, just like Sabbath worship EXISTED in the Bible. Please show or indicate in the Bible when the Lord God told the people to worship on the Sabbath day (before the giving of the Ten Commandments), and I will show you where it says people should worship on the first day. That's not important though! (but please show it). When did Jesus say the people should worship (show this during his life on earth).

I chose the love and grace of Jesus already. I'll keep the Seventh Day Sabbath holy the best way I know how to. I reject Sunday worship, as that's "false" worship and I don't follow the counterfeit Sabbath. God bless.
I have never understood why people fight tooth and nail against honoring God by keeping the Sabbath. When you love someone, don't want to do what makes them happy? And NOT do what makes them unhappy?

@@jo9354 Many Christians, about roughly 70% - 80%, falsely believe that Sunday is the "Lords Day" or the Sabbath. (This is mainly Catholic Church teaching) This is why the Sabbath is controversial and many don't care to follow it or keep the Seventh Day Sabbath. These are individuals that'll likely accept the "Mark of the Beast" mentioned in Revelation 13. (The un Godly who's names aren't written in the Lamb's book of life.) Many feel that it's a burden to them and that it's unnecessary. The confusion regarding this, harkens all the way back to the time of Pagan Rome, when Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, legalized Christianity throughout the Roman Empire around 321Ad. Since Constantine was a "politician" that wanted to please everyone, he changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday legally (probably at the insistence of Satan) and "merged" Roman Paganism with Christianity. (He decided to keep the Pagans that still practiced it throughout the Roman Empire and not get rid of Paganism.) This explains all the idolatry, the statues, the worshipping of saints, the Rosary Prayer, observance of Lent, etc along with all the other cult like traditions and beliefs in the Catholic Church. (I'm a former Roman Catholic that departed from this false worship system 21 years ago and know about this stuff.) I often get teased by people because I observe the "Kosher" Sabbath instead of going along with "tradition". (Sunday worship) The Sunday Sabbath is Satan's counterfeit of the one and ONLY Sabbath that was given to us by God thousands of years ago. Satan always "duplicates" everything God creates for us including false worship systems including Paganism and other idolatrous systems.
...and the saddest part of it all, is that you can explain this to these people, and they will dismiss you as being a crazy cultist. The devil has been working hard.
@@jo9354 Yeah, aint that the truth. I've gone up to a few Catholics and tried to explain this stuff to them and many will get offended by it or try to "down play it". These people have been sadly deceived to say the least. Well the earth that we live on is in a fallen state because of sin. And the earth is the "Devils playground" so to speak. According to Revelation 2, in a letter or report to the Church of Pergamum, Jesus points out that Satan's throne is in modern day Turkey and Jesus also says that Satan actually "lives" there. Interestingly enough, most of the countries that make up Mesopotamia and Cush, (Northern Africa) that were once part of the Roman Empire, are now Muslim Nations where Islam is practiced, even in Turkey. I suspect that Islam is Satan's "counterfeit of Christianity. In Islam, there is idolatry just like in Paganism, only they worship a rock in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

@@johnbenjamin2703 nonsense, God is no longer dealing with physical Israel because they rejected him as a nation back in AD 31 their probation was closed. And further the sabbath wasn’t made for a Jew but rather for man that is all humanity and the apostle Paul tells us clearly that true Jews are those who follow Christ those who are converted inwardly we are all spiritual Jews. The 10 commandments and the ceremonial laws are completely different, when Christ said he didn’t come to abolish the law he is here speaking of the 10 commandments the moral law, nothing to do with the ceremonial laws because the ceremonial laws were a shadow pointing forward to him as the actual sacrifice, hence the reason they had to kill a lamb. So if you what to still sacrifice a lamb then that’s up too you but by doing that you would be insulting Christ and his sacrifice as the actual lamb that takes away our sins.

Two of my favorite Bible passages are: Isaiah 8:20, "To the Law and the testimony! If they do not speak according to the word, they have no light of dawn." & Isaiah 58:14-13, "If you keep you feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way as not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find you joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the Land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."
That is the OLD testament, Read what the NEW Testament says in Colossians 2:16. The "rulers" changes once Jesus entered the scene.
@@saxmanjpr5092 lol the Old Testament is still the word of God, Christ didn’t come to do away with the Old Testament that is the law and the prophets but rather to establish them. And again Christ didn’t come to change the sabbath for he himself says not one jot or title shall in any wise pass from the law (10 commandments) till heaven and earth passes away.

He spoke and commanded 'let there be light' the first motion and act was light(dawn) He seperated the light from the dark(worked)-and the evening and -morning(bocar)- the 1st day. 24hours when morning came again 2nd day...He worked created the firmament seperated the waters from the water..worked- and- evening and morning the 2nd day. Repeat. Dawn was the initial day start. Dawn to dawn. It says morning...dawn is morning. Morning does not mean full day. Light to light once again. We are children of the light. Not all of Isreal followed evening to evening. The pharisees did.. but they are and were influenced by talmud. Seek Him for truth...these are His ways. He has brought them back for such a time as this...all praises to Him alone! In the precious Name of Yahusha ha Mashiach. Our Savior Messiah and King.
His feasts are also still applicable. They were not done away with. He does not change He is the same yesterday today and forever. Practice is what we do now because we will be doing them in the Kingdom

This is an amazingly simple presentation. Jesus said if you love me keeping the 10 commandments. It's only a love response. It has only ever been a love response. It simply shows Jesus that you love him. How simple is that. If you bring out 100 things why you shouldn't keep the Sabbath it just shows you where you are with Christ. Do you love Christ? do you love the fact that you have made the right decision by your own judgement. in not keeping the sabbath interesting

@@larryburton1489 Jesus was the one who wrote the ten commandments on the table of stones so what day would you think He was talking about when he said keep my commandments? He even summarized the ten commandments when he said Tho shall love the Lord you God with all of your heart, etc. and said that that was the greatest of all of the commandments and that the other one was like into it that thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. He said that one these two hangs all of the commandments and the prophets, Why? Because if we love God then we will be keeping the first four commandments the ones that tells us how we should treat God and the last six tells us how w should treat our neighbors. Matt. 22:37-40.

Just as how God made the animals and allowed Adam to name them, He also numbered the 7 days of the week, and allowed man to place names on them. That tells us that the numbers of the days of the week will remain the same, but any of the names can be shifted or changed.
Therefore, the 7th day, with whatever name is attached to it, should be our main day of worship. Therefore, the enforcement of the 1st day, as our main day of worship, is a sign of having the mark of the Beast. It is not because the name Sunday is attached to it.

The Israelites have been keeping the Sabbath all the from the time God established it from the falling of Manna. There was no doubt in their minds as to what day God meant when He told them to keep the Sabbath. If you are Judeo-Christian you have no problem identifying the seventh day according to scriptures

When giving the manna God was insistent they keep a specific day, for six days they could pick manna on the seventh day which was the Sabbath there was no manna to collect. If the Jews had been confused about the day before this don’t you think after 40 years in the desert they got it? When God gave them the 4 th commandant and asked them to keep it Holy don’t you think He would have ensured they knew the right day to keep holy? Think about this.

So... if I go along in my car and the speed limit is 70 but I am going 85 and the police stop me and then give me a ticket; So... does it stand to reason that since I got the ticket, I don't have to worry about getting a speeding ticket any more and others don't either? I fulfilled that speeding law, didn't I? Jesus kept the Sabbath as was HIS custom. He fulfilled meaning HE kept it showing us that it STILL is to be kept. It is like saying that I have fulfilled my duties which were told to me by my supervisor. This does NOT mean that those coming after me do NOT have to do their duties, their work. And... We can't change the day of our birth any more than God can change the memorial of those 6 days of creation.

There were many benefits offered--But--I would not work Sabbath-----With 2 days, I would get a job with BETTER benefits--and Sabbath OFF!!!! ----God WILL reward you for your decision.----

The text has absolutely nothing to do with the weekly 7th day sabbath, but rather with yearly feast days that we called sabbaths (plural) the sabbaths here in Col 2 is of the ceremonial law which was a shadow pointing to Christ and which was fulfilled when he came as the saviour. But the sabbath of the 10 commandments is not a shadow of anything to come simply because it was instituted long before sin entered and we see according to isaiah 66 that in heaven we would be keeping it as well.

Mark Finley, the calendar used today, did not exist before Constantine the Great. God gave the Sanctuary Calendar to Moses, and He has never changed it. shalom.

The calendar has something to do with either Lunar cycle or Earth circling around the Sun . Neither of The two cycles was the Sabbath connected. The weekly cycle has its beginning from creation where there was no calendar yet. So any changes of the calendar the sabbath will not be affected, because the sabbath is part of a weekly cycle.

In Acts13: 42 Paul went to those people on sabbath because it was the time they could be available and be preached to but Paul himself did not keep sabbath. He did the way a sabbatic preacher can visit christians on Sunday and preach to them because this is when they can be seen in their gatherings. So you preacher read the scripture well or seek advice from those people who call themselves Church of God like me and we can explain to you better.
Hey Charles, can you also please read Acts 13:43,44? You will see how the gentiles also come and ask him to preach to them the next sabbath. Why didn’t he say, oh well, sabbath is abolished and you don’t need to keep the sabbath so let’s meet on Sunday? No, he went to them next sabbath and preached to them. If God was going to change the sabbath which is an integral part of the 10 commandment, he would have make it unequivocally clear.

Why can't one choose one day dedicated to worship God instead of Sabbath or Sunday.. Are not both to be interpreted as guidelines..
There is a difference between the moral law and the fast days if you are referring to it. God modeled the Sabbath day for us by resting on it, blessing and sanctifying it. He chose the day and not any other day. By keeping the sabbath, we show our allegiance to God.

Bible clearly mentions that sabbath day is a day of holy convocation (Leviticus 23:3).
Jesus went to the synagogue on the sabbath (Luke 4:16). Apostle Paul after the resurrection still kept the sabbath (Acts 13:42-44; 16:13;17:3).

Paul is telling converted Gentiles in Colossians 2:16 to not let anyone judge them for keeping the new moon day, the Holydays, and the Sabbath.
