This looks almost exactly like Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's German Pavilion for the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929 - commonly called the Barcelona Pavillion. We were taught these views Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He came over from Germany and took over the school. He died before I went there.

There are many who would be inspired to live a simpler life in such an environment. It’s kind of an all or nothing approach, though, don’t you think? Once you begin introducing color, seems like you would need to go a different direction or you’d just be watering down the concept. I think for me, I would love this kind of design for a detached meditation studio, but would want something warmer for my house (if I had the land, money, etc.). It’s fun to dream.😊
Different strokes for different folks. You would have to be committed to a simpler lifestyle and the beauty of the house would inspire me to keep it clean and declutterred. At least I think so; it would be fun to find out!
