THANK YOU GREATLY FOR THIS LOVELY RAINBOW TUTORIAL!!! I really enjoyed making it!!! My 4 year granddaughter loved it as part as the sculpture I made her for her birthday. I love your work! You are also easy to follow. Your tips, as you make you creation, are very helpful!!!
I Love your easy to follow tutorial on the Rainbow cloud white base! I actually used this technique to make several lime green/standard green Fern leaves for a Sunflower garland this weekend. Can't wait to make the Rainbow part next! Yay! Thank you so much for all the Tutorials you provide! New subscriber here! :)
that is the prettiest rainbow! Thank you so much for all these free shows. I am basically a newbie and altho I'd love to join your subscription channel at the present I can't. You so remind me of my grandmother and her sister, both from Cornwall who moved to the US. Very lovely all of you. again, thanks.
Hi Susan. I'm so glad you like this rainbow and that you're enjoying my tutorials. Balloon Artworks Academy is my Facebook group - it's free to join, no subscription. Likewise my App is free to join. I can't follow this at all. I've spent the whole day trying to make the cloud base. I can do the 2 bubble pinch twist but the one bubble pinch twist? I can't see what you're doing.
Hi Karen. Sorry to hear you're struggling with this. The sequence is 2 pinch-twists followed by 1 small bubble. Then 2 PTs followed by 1 small bubble. Carry on until you've got 13 of the double pinch twists. Hope this helps. Melanie
Thanks for your reply. I thought you meant that the single bubble had to be twisted upon itself (somehow). I've tried it again but now I can't fit enough bubbles onto the balloon. Could you say approx how many inches the tail is?@@BalloonArtworks
You will run out of white 260 and you'll need to add in at least 1 more white 260. I managed to get the white section out of 2 white 260s, but if you need to use 3, then use 3. The whole thing is maybe 18 inches long by 12 inches tall - very approx dimensions.

Thanks. In the end I took the easy way and attached the rainbow to a single inflated 260Q@@BalloonArtworks
Glad you found a work-around. There's always an alternative way to do these things ☺
