Here’s the Recipe for the Roast!👇🏻
Ingredients:
1 boneless beef chuck roast ( I used about 4 lbs) salt, pepper & garlic powder to season (be generous! You can modify the seasong depending on your liking!)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 325. Season your roast generously on both sides. Add to a baking dish, cover (with foil or use a baking dish with a lid), and bake for 4 hours.
Remove the roast from the oven and shred it into large chunks using two forks. (If the roast is not pulling apart easily, put it back in the oven for 30 min. Raise the oven heat to 425) (If your roast is smaller than 4 lbs, try using an "hour per pound" method!)
I served this with garlic mashed potatoes in the video!

Fast freeze your bananas on a baking sheet before putting your bananas in a bag to freeze or they’ll freeze together as a block. Just like other fruits when a person freezes them. Just an idea to save you the hassle when braking the bananas apart later.

@@Selledeshiro yes there can be a lot of short cuts in cooking. One my mom taught me was the cap of the vanilla lid is a tsp. My grandma was a head school cook and always thought she had to proof her yeast when making bread dough. My mom never proofed her yeast even when she started cooking in high school in home economics (FACS). When she had her bread machine she still did proof and just dumped the ingredients in. She even taught me to always start with the liquid ingredients then add the dry ingredients starting with the sugars first and mixing with the liquid ingredients. After those are will mixed we’d add the salt, baking powder, and baking soda then mix. Finally we’ll ad the flour. The one time I didn’t do it that way and did the two separate bowls for wet and dry ingredients my food tasted salty. It all depends on the order in which you add your ingredients.

Great vid hun. Hope ur son is feeling better. The dogs crack me up. They r like am not moving..until u open the sliders. I always sear my roast b4 baking. It holds in the juices plus I always take it out of the frig about 30 b4 searin it. That way it doesn't sense up and make the meat tuff. C u nx wk. 💜💜💜

Yes! They always like to lay or sit where I’m cleaning! I tell them to move and they still won’t! They’re like kids!🤦🏻♀️😅 I always sear mine cause it gives that crispy texture at the end even if it’s cook with broth!

It’s so good girl, We bought more Chuck Roast since we did our grocery shopping today!😁 Right?!? I would have a sparkling home!😂 No they don’t go in the pool, they look and sniff but they don’t jump. Thor is scared of water, he’s like a cat so bath time is also a real chore!🤦🏻♀️ While Dixie fell in the pool when we first bought the house and move here so I think she’s scared after that!We try to get her in while we swim but she doesn’t want to..😭 Happy weekend friend!🥰

We’re using one of our guest room as a storage for a lot of my decor right now and other stuff so I can’t clean there until I declutter!😅 It’s pretty full!😬 I do plan to tackle the playroom/other guests room real soon though!😉

My mom will cook more than one item in the oven at the same time to save how long the oven is on.
I usually do that if the food I’m cooking/baking has the same cooking temperature! In this case the roast is at 325 and I need to cook the banana bread at 350 so I waited.. but yes! That’s definitely the best way to save time and gas! 😉
@@Selledeshiro pretty much we cook everything at 350 unless is frozen pizza.
