We are not relegion people. 60% of population declarate muslim and the rest katholik ortodokse atheist.ect... from 100 % of the muslims only 10% of them practis Islam the rest have no idea cause in the past they changed their relegion from Christianity to Muslim because they had to survive through the otoman empire. The ones who are Christians they practise more their relegion than Muslims. I dont care cause I am atheist but we are not an Islam country most of the Muslims they don't care and don't know nothing about Islam but there is a propaganda that the Islamic country are doing right now by paying poor people to practise Islam. We albanian people don't care a lot for relegion we can change it depends to what is good for us Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu our national hero fought the ottomans until his last breath cause he was protecting his people and country also the Europe civilization cause if it wasnt for him probably we would have higher Muslims population in Europe and probably our language will be turks.
