Talking about the placing of your fan, A friend of mine did a van build a year or two ago. He made the same mistake and wanted to change the place of the fitting. He had kept the piece of metal, that he had cut out of the roof. So in just a few hours he had welted the piece back in, grinded it nice and flat, cut a new hole and placed the fan back in a new position. Just a tip. Keep your metal cutouts. If you live full time in your van, you could hide them behind your pannels. Nice video. Thanks.

I watched half of your video and come into conclusion. Many new people or maybe you as well, take the perspective of van living slight wrong, if not to say completely wrong. Vanlife is always temporary no matter how much money and built-in you pour into it. Keep every aspects (eat, shower, sleep, toilet) down to minimum. No fancy because the more you invested your money into stuffs, the more you have to live that life until you get back what you paid for. Stealth camping also a must. Don’t portray your vehicle with any stickers or signs at all. you don’t know who has bad will behind their friendly smile. Everyone will have to contemplate on the scale between Freedom vs Comfort. Not an RV but a van also very costly to operate (fuel, height restriction) less Freedom but in exchange you have more Comfort. If your initial goal is enjoy long journey with a place to safely sleep, then I believe you got it. However if you have multiple goals at once (enjoy roadtrip, save money for future goals, live an unconvention way,..) then of course you will see vanlife is a fail. Yes nobody will teach anyone anything valuable for free because they earned it by mistakes. Also there are thousands youtube channel on this topic so feel relief if you could not find a right source of knowledge before you start your vanlife. At least you earned something out of living this way for a while right?

Great video! We are always hardest on our own work, and cameras I've learned are very forgiving. One of my big fails has been my storage cabinet area. I built one that was too big and eventually replaced it with a sink area that's too small. Getting ready to rip it all out -- third time's a charm!

Great video!! The train to Hogwarts comes in the morning at 9am and drives back at 3pm 🫣 We went there in the morning and it was so crowded!
