Hi, I found y'all's video by chance while searching for 'Ham Potpie Recipes'. Your recipe sounds and looks just like what I remember enjoying on cold evenings at my Gandmama's. During my search, I came across several recipes for 'Ham Potpie' which included multiple seasonings, vegetables and ingredients. The pictures of those versions weren't recognizable to me or even reminiscent of the delicious comfort food I loved and enjoyed on cold winter days growing up. I can't wait to make this, however I do have a question and welcome any suggestions. If the starch from my potatoes and dough don't add the richer consistency I prefer to my stock, what can I add or do to thicken it a bit more?
Thank you for posting this. My Mother used to make this when I was little. I forgot how to make the dough.
That looks so good! Great job guys!

That looks really good. I’m glad it turned out. Mmm, pie.
watched this again, I have a ham bone in the freezer, thinking about making some.
We call that ham and dumplings. But no matter what it is called it looks delicious.
