I love the irony and the duality of each of their campaigns. Natalie is doing what Eddie is supposed to do and vice versa. Despite Natalie winning, Gus was still right in the end, that's some sort of karma at the end.
I noticed the same thing too!
I never comment on RUclips videos but I hope some interaction makes RUclips push this pilot to more people. This 14 minute treasure alone made me chuckle more times than any super-budget show I can recall. The comedy, the art style, the characters - all wonderful! And that’s before even taking account that it was written, directed and animated by one person! I wish you all the best, Averey!

Everything about the desaturated colors that still provide vibrance and difference in characters, and the different personalities that tie in with the appearances and voices... EVERYTHING about this is amazing! One of my favorite underrated pilots of all time! Saving this!!!

Woah, what a throwback. I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers your RuneScape cartoons. A legend has returned with this banger of a pilot, I like it. Eddie reminds me of Kitamura from Toradora, both in personality and aesthetic. Joel kinda reminds me of Ellis from L4D2. I also really appreciated the Tales From RuneScape cameo at 4:30 and the Asparagoose cameo at 11:46. I never thought I'd see content again from the legendary Green Tea3 in 2023. What kind of timeline are we in? Haha.
Excellent work, hopefully netflix or some other streaming service picks this up.

What a wild surprise to see in my subscriptions feed! I really enjoyed Tales from RuneScape back in the day (I even a made an audition video that one time you had an open call for voice actors) and I wondered what had happened to you. Congrats on this!

Omg like every joke hit, that was really good. The characters are also very different and it's easy to see how they differ in personality through both their designs and the way they move and speak. In short this was a really good pilot and I can't wait to see more!

This is so cool, I loved the characters they were all really fun and loveable and the art style is also really great. The script was really fun as well all the jokes were acc rlly funny. Too bad it was last updated a year ago 😞

This is amazing! I love the plot of this episode, it was animated very well, I adore he artstyle, the voice actors were pretty good, my only criticism is the lack of background music but other then that this is really nice!
Thia reminds me of one Finnish cartoon named Hullu Hullumpi Yläaste. Like the secretary is like a genderbend of one teacher lmaoo even the voice! Anyway, this is under rated!

Oh the art style here is so charming! Th characters were also really fun and I found myself smiling at several of the jokes.
If I had any criticism, I'd say it got a little bit wordy. But that aside I think it has a lot of potential to be a fun show.

How had i never heard of this as a kid in the late 2000s?
I used to have a different RUclips series way back in the day (2006-2011) but this pilot is brand new! I decided to set it in the year 2008 for nostalgia, and to preserve the decade that I originally came up with the idea as a teenager :)

This was super fun and charming. The string of Aurdey and Eddie's horrible poster edits and cupcakes with slapped on political agendas got a lot of laughs out of me.

Charlie Hopkinson (who plays Joel) does a killer Aaron Paul impression, which is the vibe I asked for for his recordings.
Some of the other actors have been in some notable web series as well!
For a pilot ok, but what should a series be about then? A bunch of friends living school life? Natalie have to face weird problems with her new "job"? As a short clip I could understand and appriciate it. But not as a pilot.
@WhiteAce3 I have the entire series, full of individual episodes, planned out in my head :) This is just an example of what an episode would look like in the series. It would focus on the friends as they complete high school.
