The OLine will get fixed. Hell OU played 84 players in the game. Going to have to lean on the defense for a couple games. They'll be ready for Tennessee. I guarantee that

    Several things were outstanding:
#1 addition of Zac Alley !! This allows BV to be a Head coach, which is huge !!
#2 Addition of communication with team on the field plus the iPads !! Real time video to help correct and coach !!!
#3 We lost two players that really hurt our offense center and WR who is also great blocking down field !!
#4 We played 84 players, super important for team morale but the opposite of consistency !! So I don’t think these are issues !
#5 Barnes and Tatum really showed out, IMO So we got some dudes at RB plus the TE group looks much improved or atleast how we use them !!

Defense played extremely well......against Temple, so take it for what it's worth. I saw receivers running wide open two separate times, though! A better quarterback hits those guys for a score. The offense has problems. Very real problems! Between injuries and inexperience, we might be in trouble? If we played Tennessee next week, we would lose. The only question is by how much? Luckily, we still have 3 weeks before we meet up in Norman. We need the injury bug to leave us alone, especially at WR and O line! I think we'll figure it out, though. • @JB-dy9bl
      @JB-dy9bl Месяц назад +2

evaluate our RBs? They scrapped out 220 yds on poor OL play... To me, it looked like we got away from the run game as soon as we go it going and got into the red zone. Likely setting up scenarios for the O to practice. Red zone/goal line etc... Then they ran some passing plays like the 4tds JA threw. That looked purposefully throttled and scripted like a scrimmage.

    • @racingpigeon2024

@@JB-dy9bl my point was the coaches didn't know prior to the game that the RBs were going to run for 220 yards so why would you plan a vanilla offense? It's obvious we didn't need to run up the score but still you have to get as many RBs as you can a little playing time.

"This safety room has gone from a liability to not only a strength, but one of the best in college football..."
    Based on what?
That qb couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
There was a point where he threw the ball (poorly) but there wasn't a db within 10 yards. Safeties included.
    What?
Ya'll are hypin too much, my guy.
Ya'll keep tryin to push this narrative you are some absurdly good defense.
Your line is good. For sure. Improved. Caveat: vs a line full of transfers and some freshman. But, ya'll were good enough, benefit of the doubt.
What exactly did you see that said, "nah, our safeties are not only good, they are some of the best in cfb?"

The high school play book won't get anything done, period!! 158 yards passing, what a joke and a huge waste to our quarterback and receiving group!! 1-12 on 3rd down conversions. 378 yards a game won't get you to a bowl game 😂!! Stats reflects a horrible offensive coach!! Stats speak the truth!! Quarterbacks has more passing yards in one quarter, then Arnold has in a whole game 😂!! Pathetic!! A no name school like Western Carolina has 16 yards less than OU, and had more passing yards than OU!! Not impressed with the piss poor play calling by Seth!! Alabama 600 yards, Tennessee 718 yards, Ole Miss 772 yards!!! We don't stand a chance with Seth's high schooler playbook!! High schools has more passing yards in a game than OU lol. Very pathetic and horrible coaching!! We won't make a bowl game with this kind of play calling!!!!! And I thought a 10-2 season is very achievable, but not with this horrible play calling!! I hope things changes, because if not, it's going to be a long and miserable football season with piss poor play calling!!
