Glad you left, we don't need you here. We are still growing at 2.5 million in the area, and you're a little loss does nothing to us. Now I'm curious, what city or place are you living at now that's so much better?
@@darrenzinck7686 Name a place with over half a million in the city limits and 2.5 million in the area having better weather, that's cleaner, greener & cheaper.
Anywhere in the region is lovely ,sacramento is just so underrated,I mean ,close to lakes, rivers and90 minutes from the ocean of bay area ,really what is not to like, the great outdoors ,not so expensive like other mayor cities,LA,Frisco san jose and now the most expensive e of all and most overrated city of san diego, poor people here on the south of the state,so hard to keep up w rents ,or to keep a place to live, san diego is horrible to live ,so that's why when you know there is a city like sacramento you always gonna have a nice opcion,at least you know that you may have some money left after the rent, here in san diego people struggle to make ends meet ,just saying,GOD BLEESS😊
Because of problems getting traffic lights fixed I'm stating this now here the traffic lights on west stree and court street in Woodland ca don't work at all so cars don't know
This list strongly favors the close in, older urban areas that are nice but schools not so much. The best public schools tend to be Granite Bay, Folsom, El Dorado Hills and Davis. All of these are pricey but you get great schools as a bonus.
My advice is to drive to Sacramento and then continue on. To be completely honest Auburn is not even close to living in Sacramento, and the rest of the areas are not affordable and are littered with crappy neighborhoods and homeless people and camps. You may find a great house on a great street for $1M, and right across the street will be $400K dump. 90% of the city and burbs suck here!
Auburn is 36 miles east of Sacramento Elk Grove is like 14 miles south Folsom is 22 miles Roseville is 15 miles away El Dorado is past Folsom up on hwy 50 Arden Oaks is like 10 miles from Downtown Sacramento Midtown has lots of homeless and no shopping grocery stores Curtis Park old homes built back in the 30s very expensive to live 5 miles to downtown Land park very very expensive East Sac very very expensive DONT live in North Sac or Del Paso very poor areas of town Better yet STAY out of Sacramento PERIOD NOTHING tro do here
Moved to west sac, its just like any other shit hole im white & im the minority, might say something about the attitude of the people here, its negative not many smiles.
@@mahalabones6213 I’m white. I’m in “minority status” in my neighborhood. There’s one other white family on my street. My neighbors to my right are black, across the street are Korean, to my left are Philipino, and further down the street are Vietnamese, from Africa, from Peru and Venezuela, and many from India. We are an upper middle class neighborhood and it’s one of the friendliest I’ve ever lived in except my childhood home. I’ve lived in “all white” neighborhoods. One of the LEAST friendly was all white in Vacaville. Every Fourth of July is an awesome neighborhood party. Christmas is great because we share treats and our Christmas table is full of multicultural treats. The whole neighborhood goes all out on Halloween. We wave and say hello on a daily basis. My Philipino neighbors gladly reached out and helped me when I had an emergency need, and I’d gladly do the same for them. Do you want to know which neighbors on my block I’ve never seen join in on the neighborhood activities and holidays? AWESOME VIDEO
Best place to be at. I love Sacramento
I live in Sacramento. It's awesome!
Why no mention of the big problem of drug addicts living on the streets and high crime. I moved out for that reason. Don’t miss it a bit.
Great video to see the neighborhoods!!! Thinking of moving to the area. Elk Grove looks like my suburb style.
Try Wilton, it's like living in a different state.
Folsom and Rocklin are way better
This made me miss my hometown. I wish it was that cheap again 😢😢
Yes
The Sacramento area is a great place to live. We’ve lived here for 35 years only because we can’t think of a better place to be.
Looks like Midtown and East Sac are the winners!
for the homeless!!!!!!!
I take it you write articles for newspaper real estate sections, e.g. The Sacramento Bee.
Sacramento🇺🇸
How long can I get to a good beach from Sacramento?
With all of the overwhelming taxes and inflation the costs of living in Sacramento is a nightmare on crack 😮.
Left that sespool 2yrs ago, all I miss is TOGOS and Jimboys
Jimboy’s is fire

From the air, looks like Paris,so I've heard.
I was born and partially brought up in Sacramento. I lived in the Oak Ridge area. I miss the community
Did you just say celebrities walk among us? Bro, where?
The hair band Tesla is from Sac
I never saw any celebrities there.
I actually see a lot of celebrities in Sac. They blend in soo well you never notice them

Mid-town Sacto comes with its horrible cars traffic.
Public transportation is not recommended IMO
California is too expensive I'm trying to move out as soon as my lease is up
A lot of Californias issues stem from housing cost, if they can fix that then it would be an amazing state

People are trash at driving out here. With or without traffic
if you anywhere but folsom or elk grove all you see is hobos and tweakers
Buddy, there are no "best places to live" out here.
This list is whack. Top 3 are El Dorado Hills, Folsom and Rocklin. And not including Fair Oaks on the list and having Elk Grove is insane
Sacramento Population; 520000, Long Beach; 650000, LA + LAco=1000,0000!
Sac city limits may be 500K but all the surrounding areas that are part of Sacramento is well over 2.5M
Lol Sacramento is whack unless you have a good connection here

There’s not enough room to post all the negatives about Sacramento. It’s an insufferable toxic expensive mess.
So what's your favourite city
The best thing you can do for your wellbeing is to get out of CA as fast as you can.

What does your whiteness and minority status in the neighborhood have to do with the people’s attitude?

Ignorant question to put it politely, and I’m not even white but I understand what it means to be a minority.
You're the problem my guy. I'm white and have never had any issues with other races, EVER. And I live in South Sacramento.
