    This is actually a pretty clean B group. One could assume B, or intermediate, is always a cluster. Biggest range of skill levels. Powerful bikes. Riders who have aggression but are still working on their technique.

    That ducati is an absolute rocket ship in a straight line.

    Great stuff! Glad to see someone else running 3 cameras on track. :-D That track looks pretty fantastic. Most of them in MN / WI area have pretty bad pavement. Keep up the great content!

    The most dangerous of the groups. Some riders should be in C and some in A. When I catch up to a rolling road block, I pull into the hot pits and increase the gap or move up to A group. Try A if you haven’t yet but be ready for those inside passes.

    Great video man. Curious why you aren't rev match down shifting though in b group?....

    • @TysonMoto
      @TysonMoto  3 года назад +2

      Thanks man and great question. I don't rev-match because I am not entirely convinced that doing it on my 750 would improve my lap times. I have done over 100 trackdays on this bike and so far the stock slipper clutch has worked great!

      A lot of top rides don’t rev match downshift because it actually works as a rear brake

    That forward facing camera is clear as a bell!!! Which model is that??

    • @TysonMoto
      @TysonMoto  3 года назад +1

      It’s a GoPro Hero 8 shooting in 1080 Superview at 30 FPS.

      Thanks! The camera settings also has “hyper smooth boost” turned on. It makes such a big difference for helmet mounted cam footage.

      As far as sound quality goes, I'm using a foam cover for the camera to cut down wind noise.

      @@TysonMoto great idea! I just back from Thunderhill from a Ken Hill novice school and was reviewing my video and saw the difference and was blown away! I have a 3+ 🤣🤣 Yeah big leaps for sure since then. I’m running a 2012 Gsxr 750 so that dash can video caught my attention too when I recognized my dash!

    What’s a good time on a 750 at the Ridge?

    • @ukzjwri
      @ukzjwri 2 года назад

      No Chicane 1:55 is respectable. 1:50 is quick. 1:45 and below is strong race pace.

    What is that, a little sv650 that's hanging with all those big bad litre bikes? This track is too tight, I would have done something different with that much cheap land.

    • @InitialD604
      @InitialD604 2 года назад

      ....it's a half mile straight and an average superbike pace of 90 miles an hour...it's B group dude, the bike doesn't matter worth crap...

    intermediate is the worst group

    • @memelet
      @memelet Год назад +1

      I rode at ridge last weekend and for me it was just the opposite. C was scary. There were some really fast riders in C but they were all over the trace and passing very close and at random times. I moved to B in the afternoon at it was way way better experience. I am a relative newbie, but can keep with bottom third of B and can stay on line. So maybe it's more the composition of the groups that day? Because two weeks earlier I was at ridge in C and it was just fine.

    • @andrewkapaldo5131
      @andrewkapaldo5131 Год назад

      @@memelet you are absolutely correct in regard of "the composition of the groups that day." if you are referencing the 2fast weekend that just happened i kinda agree with you....both relaxed and intermediate were sold out so that left those who would usually buy those groups opted to buy an experienced group (c)... typically it goes relaxed (A) group knows they are "slow"... at the same time the experienced group (C) know they are slow too. Its the intermediate group (B) who think they are "fast." ...intermediate tend to be the most dangerous because they are unpredictable, swoop mid corner and/or drop anchor way before engaging the corner

    • @andrewkapaldo5131
      @andrewkapaldo5131 Год назад

      @@memelet keep up the good work though bud..this whole thing is about being better than your previous self..you cant compare yourself to others cuz there will always be someone else who is faster....remember to have fun and relax (>'.')7
      Edit: focus on your fundamentals before introducing speed
