Do not feel bad for saying those things she needed to hear them .her doing what she did is not your fault either her brain n though process is stunted from drugs n childhood abuse she should probably be in a year long rehab program to learn how to be all over again I'm sorry your going through .recovering addict myself 8 years clean .you can only do so much n only if she's willing to change
@@roxanegonzales1744 that is true, but it still doesnt rule out the possibility unfortunately. One of the main reasons murder by overdose is missed is because the victim previously used. That makes it easier to blame on relapse. And like you said, drug addicts often dont think straight, and ones trying to cover themselves will do extreme things. Additionally, people who have near death experiences often do go through massive changes in personality; its not uncommon for them to find new meaning in life and try to better themselves after said experience. Maybe its not the case here, but based off the story provided, its still a notable possibility
Well I am a former addict myself and when you hang around other addicts stuff like that just happens, if you over dose they just leave you there because they are afraid of getting in trouble, but most of the time they will try to bring you back themselves but when that fails they freak out and run
Wow, that escalated quickly! NTA for sure, OP. She knew your past and could have come to you to talk. Rehab didn't work as she kept going back to her same habits. I am very concerned for you and the children. 😢. May you find someone new in the future.
one of the way for rehab to work is to get away from people that cause the drug use in the first place so yea she can't drop her bad habits when she keeps hanging out with the people that enable her.

The fact that the friend hadnt called the ambulance is a massive concern, makes me think wife didnt do it to herself 😢
The friend didn't want to get in to trouble for drug possession. People on drugs don't think straight.

Common they're not actual "friends". Friends don't let there friends do drugs or anything bad.
